2017 Ford Escape consumer reviews

For the price I paid for such a new used car with the amount of miles, it was a good deal. I would have wanted the little things that the next model up would have provided, but would have been over my price range. I love the color, it?s a very smooth and easy ride. Great for a 4 member family.

Since buying this off the lot brand new I've had issues with it. First month the serpentine belt went on it. The 3 months after the shocks needed to be replaced. It's shut off in intersections and they couldn't find out how until I lost it after getting killed when it shut off and they said they fixed it to have to bring it back just a couple weeks later for the engine light was on. I then had to bring it back again for the same thing. I've had my door fixed as it was letting air in then I had it fixed again for it shaking. Ford has done nothing to compensate me as I've asked for another vehicle as this one is a lemon and they say sorry but we don't do that. DO NOT BUY A FORD! Poor customer service.

I absolutely love this vehicle, Ford makes great products, my last car I got 200,000 and still going and I know I will get great use out of my new used Escape, love the comfort and smooth ride.

Replaced previous sedan with Escape for easier entering and exiting of vehicle. Also wanted larger carrying capacity with easier access than a trunk. Front wheel drive provides excellent traction in rain and snow without need for four wheel drive in the normal driving I do - no off road or mountainous driving. The 245 horsepower 4 cylinder engine gives good gas mileage while providing more than adequate power for passing on highways with 70+ mph speed limits. Averaged 23mpg while commuting (85 miles per day) - down to 17mpg with current driving mix now that I am retired. Current mileage is 35,000 @ 24 months.

The car has all the bells and whistles I wanted, and them some. My wife loves her 2014 Escape, now we also have a 2017. Extremely happy with the car and the deal.

We got this car for our daughter you drive tho school. We feel it's a safe vehicle. She loves it. It has bluetooth. It handles really well.

I enjoy this car the hight it give me is wonderful. The full windshield help me see clearer. Give me more security while driving Im ready to drive Ontario highway

We chose this car because my wife was not comfortable driving my Ford Edge on long trips or short local trips due to blind spots. She was able to feel more comfortable in the Ford Escape.

This car has met all of our needs so far. Plenty of room front and back seats, as well as for stuff in the back area. USB's everywhere we need to reach...and lots of power in that EcoBoost system! Love it!!!

Very solid vehicle so far . Very roomy for being a small SUV ...plenty of legroom in the second seat and love all the features !!
