Zippy little vehicle!

This car is exactly the right size for zipping around town. Parking is easy as it is a great size for parking spots and parallel parking. The car is comfortable on the highway. The seats heat up fast. The temperature control is easy to use and heats up fast. The sync system is great - I listen to my Audible books with ease. The voice activated commands seem to work well, so far. I would recommend this car for anyone who needs to be up a little higher than a sedan or hatchback and does not need to have a lot of cargo space. The Escape has enough for me and my family, but it would have been tight a few years ago when my children were smaller and, somehow, needed more stuff than they do now.

Satisfied

Our 2017 Escape SE was a step down in luxury for us. It suffers unfairly compared with the Murano we previously owned when it comes to power and comfort. However, the Escape is a great looking and satisfying SUV to own. We like the steering feel when driving around town. It is very manageable in traffic and with parking. I would recommend buying the 2.0 ecoboost engine if you can afford it. We have the 1.5 and are lacking in passing power and acceleration. We compared the Escape with a CRV and a Rav 4 and definitely preferred it for driving, styling and interior design and features. Had we chosen the Titanium model with leather and the 2.0 the Escape would have compared favorably with our Murano and we would be thrilled instead of simply satisfied. Oh yeah. We are quite pleased with the performance of the AWD system in light to heavy snow. We live at the bottom of a very steep hill and have had zero problems climbing it through heavy snow on the way to work in the morning.

My first Ford SUV - Great experience

I had been looking at the Ford line of SUV's for a while & was excited when I found a few in my price range. After test driving 2 different Escape models I was sold. The drivers & passenger seats are incredibly comfortable. There is plenty of leg room for my passengers which is something my previous SUV was lacking. The drive is smooth and quiet and the interior noise is at a minimum. The only things that I miss are options that didn't come with this model. The all-wheel/four wheel drive option is not on my current vehicle so after we got about 5-6 inches of snow (I live in the midwest) the car was stuck right away. After rocking back & forth I was able to get out but I really missed the four wheel drive. Overall I would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking for a good performing, reliable & attractive SUV. And I think Ford is a name that can be trusted so I will look to purchase more in the future.
