Great car for the price. Wish I had gone to the next price range for more features. Very comfortable.

Love the Eacape

We just purchased our second Escape. Love this car! We still have our first Escape. It's 7 years old and still rides great. Hoping for another long run with the new one!

Regret not getting more features

I bought the base trim because I couldn't justify spending another few thousand dollars but after looking at how much my car cost I feel like some of those features should've already been offered. The dealership also made a mistake and sold me a car I had never seen. They found the error right after all paperwork as signed. They said they were the exact same but they weren't and the fist feature I made sure was included when I did my test drive was NOT included in the car they actually sold me and my car was not cleaned first. I am happy with my car and the people at the dealership were very nice but it was a HUGE let down since this was the 1st time I bought a brand new car.

New 17 Titanium fully loaded

Traded in a 2015 Honda CRV and it is more fun to drive, more stable in snow, and power is just what I was looking for with the scream of the CST tranny of the CRV.

Great little SUV-- Titanium 2.0l, loaded

I was somewhat weary about buying the Escape. I had not liked the looks of the past models but I like what they did with the 17, especially inside. It looks very grown up now; opposed to the "kiddy kar" look that it had in the recent years. The Escape, with the 2.0 in it ,is surprisingly fast and generally it handles quite well, especially once it is rolling along on the interstate. At low speeds there is way to much torque steer, you're never really sure which direction you will be heading off in. The interior is very well laid out, easy to use and the seats are amazing for a. small SUV, they easily rival those of some of the European seats. The car has been super reliable up to this point (15000 miles)with only a couple factory deficiencies needing attention. The lane keep assist works well except it occasionally tries to steer away from some imaginary line that it has seen. The Active Cruise Control works flawlessly. Some minor complaints. The SYNC system has a mind of its own. You can never be sure what music source might come up when you start the car. It is sometimes hard to pair with my phone for music through Bluetooth. Also, the owners manual is so far removed from the details of the SYNC 3 system that you would think it was for another vehicle. It is of no help whatsoever. Some settings that you can make with the SYNC never actually happen to the car. Second complaint....the transmission. When backing out of the drive and putting the car in D, it sits for several seconds before it actually goes into gear. This is only when the car is cold. It is annoying. All in all, it is a great little SUV and gets good comments from others at gas stations etc.

Love the space and the drive!

The car is very comfortable and drives super smooth. The car has great power when I step on the gas and I love the ecoboost option.

Sleek, Practical, Fun

After test driving several Ford Escape CUV's over the past few years I have grown to like them more and more. With the 2017 model I could not put it off any longer, I had to have one. I bought a Ruby Red Escape Titanium with the 2.0 EcoBoost and AWD. I skipped the 301A package but still got the panoramic roof. The fit and finish of this vehicle is phenomenal. Having owned four prior Ford products they have significantly improved the overall quality of interior materials and how they are put together. The entire interior of this vehicle is soft touch, there is beautiful accent stitching in the leather, and every inch of the dashboard besides the piano black trim on the climate surround is soft touch. Even the back seats are nice and supportive and recline or fold flat. Getting in and out requires no step up or down, and the memory seat always scoots back into my position when I unlock it using my key. In the last several significant snowfalls I loved being able to start my car at work from my smartphone while my other coworkers had to go out and get into their cold cars. Speaking of the winter weather, the AWD in this vehicle is predictive and has not let me down in any low traction events at all. Drove through a foot of unplowed snow one evening in the midst of a blizzard and on the stock Micheline tires I was able to make it home with very little drama. Matched with the 2.0 this vehicle has a lot of get up and go and is VERY fun to drive. Think of it as an automatic Focus ST with AWD and a better seating position. With the new twin scroll set up the power is available sooner and more often and that can make for some extremely fun interstate entrances! I am very much looking forward to towing my camper with this as well. With the towing package I can tow up to 3,500lbs which is more than enough to tow a SuperLite 19ft trailer. This engine makes more torque than even the 3.5 V6 in the Explorer so the only thing preventing the Escape from towing more would be the suspension/hitch capacity. Once the warranty expires I will likely look into an aftermarket suspension and hitch system to up the towing capacity. Overall I am extremely pleased with this vehicle. I did all of my research, knew what I wanted, and got exactly what I wanted and more.

The most comfortable vehicle I've owned.

Love it. Very comfortable and enjoyable. Handles better than the Toyota, and the seats in the Escape are more comfortable than the Toyota.

Love my Escape

Great Value for the Buck!!!! Have enjoyed it from day one and still learning the electronics of the radio, A/C and heating and other items. Love the feature of the engine shutting down at long stops.
