Focus to Escape

After driving a 2013 Focus for over 100, 000 miles, it was nice to sit up higher in the Escape though I will certainly miss the 40+ mpg that the Focus achieved. The Escape is very comfortable and has more features than were offered on the Focus 7 years ago. We're definitely movin' on up!

Driving on wet roads

I am wondering if anyone else has notice when driving on very wet roads that you 2019 Ford Escape SEL feels like it going hydroplane everytime it hits water on the roads. I have never had a vehicle that scares me as much as this. Yes I have the TSC on. Is it the car itself or do I need different type of tires on it than what came on it. I have only own this car since November 2019.

Love this vehicle

This car has everything that I wanted my new car to have, heated seats, remote start, back up camera, push button start. Very happy with my purchase and dealings with Manderbach Ford-Scott Winkleman salesman.

We keep buying the Ford Escape for reliability.

Most comfortable and reliable vehicle we've owned. Pefect for the older generation. Prefer the Escape and Edge. Would definitely replace it with a new model when the time comes.

Upgrade from my 2006 SUV

Traded in my 2006 Escape XLT 6cyl. for a used 2019 Escape SEL with a 1.5 Turbo. Easier to get in than my old one. I have some mobility issues and this car was a dream to enter. Seats comfortable and heated. Love the remote start and all the bells and whistles. Door pillar security system is nice. Good visibility all around and a back-up camera. Easy to pair up my phone to the car . Only wish the engine had a little more zip. Our other car has a 2.0 turbo and it is a jackrabbit.

In the SEL no NAV system and no CD player

This is about the fifth Ford Escape we've leased. We discovered that on the 2019 model the SEL version no longer comes with a navigation system. After the salesman showed us that it was easy to link a phone the the system, we could use the phone as a GPS. What te salesman did not tell us was that Ford has also discontinued installing a CD player in the car, something our salesman neglected tomention!
