Very Spacious

My wife test drove all the other comparable suv's, and determined this one to have more room for the driver and passengers. We have had it for years and our next vehicle will be the same model.

Best car I've ever owned

Fantastic family car. More powerful than I expected thanks to the V8, and really comfortable, with full leather, dvd system, etc. Had the engine replaced at 120,000 and it now drives like new!

187,000 and still running fine

Have owned this car from mile 0. Only regular maintenance and some coil and rear end gasket changes. But hey, its been around the world the equivalent of 7+ times. Would recommend this car to anyone, if it has been maintained property. Constantly getting guys at the oil change place and dealership wanting to buy it or have me call them when I want to sell.

Big and strong and comfy

Always love the expedition. Not had a lot of troubles except for coil packs and spark plugs. Very spacious for families! Comfortable to drive and easy to park despite its size.

Great and Reliable car

The limited trim that I have currently is a super car. It is loaded with a huge variety of comfort features. This car is solid one with very strong engine that ensures the optimum reliability of performance.

Not one problem in 11 years of ownership.

Plenty of room almost like an aircraft hanger inside. Has a great ride and comfort on long trips. Owned this car since new and has been really dependable. Only rutine matainance proformed on it. Has 150.000 miles now. While not the first choice for a trip across town it is the first and only choice for cross country. Gas mileage is not bad if you keep your foot out of it and can average 22 on good days. Its a big and bulky suv thats not fun in heavy traffic, but makes up for it once you hit the open road when you can find them. Only cons are gas milage. A great dependable ride from FORD MOTOR COMPANY.

Lots of power nice amenities

Plenty of power in the EB Expy for any practical use. Great stock sound system. Lots of room inside and a DVD player for the kids keeps em quiet during long drives. Between 10-11 mpgs driving in metro Detroit. Maybe 17 mpg on the hwy. I keep driving it to only when I need to truck around 6-8 people. I bought on mechanic special for dirt cheap. Spark plugs can be tricky (replace all coil on plugs), some electrical issues but a multimeter can help resolve. Mine had serious problems but I'm fortunate enough to have close resources with programming tools. Nevertheless I am having a blast driving the beast and my family loves it. If you test drive one and it doesn't feel like the power is getting away from you, then there is either something wrong with the fuel tables or there's a timing issue so steer clear (unless you like tearing into motors). I'll keep it in case I need to get my jeep out of the mud.

great car

great car if you need to haul more than 3 or 4 people. Suburbans and Sequoias will cost more. The other cars that have a 3rd row have very little room back there

Nice truck with plenty of room

I brought my 2006 Eddie Bauer used with 56K. I currently have 137K. Fits in my garage and has plenty of room for teenagers. Only major issue was the tune up at 100K. The motorcraft spark plugs have broken inside of the engine and had to purchase the extraction tool to remove three. Also on my third set of tires, Michelin Tires. I recently took a long trip from Texas to Iowa, and the vehicle drove like a dream. I received 16.5 mpg and had to gas up three times on the trip. It's a SUV, so what do you expect. I transported six teenage girls and they had a ball! After the fifteen hour trip, they all said it wasn't that bad. I believe it was the comfort and the ride of the vehicle. I'm trying to keep my Expedition until the wheels fall off. If your gas conscience, reconsider. But if you want comfort, power, and versatility, this is your vehicle.
