Biggest piece of xxxx I have ever owned!

Biggest piece of xxxx I have ever owned! I have owned 50+ vehicles and never had near the problems this waste of space had given me in 6 months of owning it! It has left me stranded for 3 days at a gas station because although the starter tested find it was in fact faulty and for something that is certain to have to be replaced before 150k miles it is the most impossible part to remove. Adjusting the camber on the front wheels is a complete joke. Don't waste your $115 on the camber adjustment kit, what a joke! The only thing it does for this xxx' known driver side camber issue is pulls the whole xxxx wheel in. I'm turn forcing it to dog track! So just get use to eating through tires. Which leads me to the next best part about this truck. Because the camber or alignment is always off forcing continuous strain on the whole drivetrain, all nuts and bolts, especially lug nuts become seized from the excessive amounts of heat! Even after putting any seize on them it still left me stranded on the side of the road for 2 days. Broke 3 1/2" breaker bars, 2 1/2" impacts and 8 or 9 impact sockets. Finally I got a sledge hammer and took out some of my frustrations on them and broke them free. I will NEVER EVER waste anything on another Ford again. That company is a complete disgrace to Henry ford's legacy.

I said I'd never own a ford.

I said I'd never own a ford. well here we are highlighting exactly why I said this. Ford has never impressed me at all and it really don't know starting with the eletrical wiring random braking I don't know how in the rubber boot in the door that happend but that's where it started many more broken wires now the mystery problem with the eletrical chasing every issue only to never find out for sure what's really wrong.

2006 F150 5.4

I bought my 2006 F150 5.4 back in 2014 it had close to 100,000 miles. The only issue I had with it, is a spark plug blew out and had a mechanic install a helicoil and a new spark plug. Ever since I haven't had any problems and I always do the oil changes with synthetic oil. Now in 2024 the truck still runs strong, it's always been my work truck and daily driver. It haves 277,876 miles and counting. Love my truck. No major issues, I definitely recommend this truck

AC issues and Overpriced

We bought a brand new F150 Limited that cost way more than it is worth, and have had AC issues right out of the gate. The problem is this, we can be driving along with the AC on and out of the blue the air will stop blowing. We can hear the motor to the fan, but no cool air will come out. When we take it to the dealer, we just get the run around and told to bring it in when it stops working. This is nearly impossible because it will work when it restarts or will sometimes magically start working again. The service department in Green Bay said they have never seen this issue, but 5 minutes later proceeded to show two other complaints with the same problem. Ford clearly knows this is an issue because there are dozens and dozens of similar complaints on the internet. Ford could simply take a vehicle out and test it until the issue is replicated. They won't do that because the would create a recall and cost money. Instead they prefer people spend tens of thousands on an inferior product as their employees demand raises. Ford is an inferior product and is a rip-off. There should be a class action lawsuit for what it is doing to customers. I bought my last Ford!

Old Faithfull 2006 F150

Got the truck as a company vehicle with 305,000 miles on it in 2015. I have 463,000 on it now. It's a 4wd extended cab with the 6.5 ft bed. Replacing the bed now due to corrosion from State Maine winters. Replaced rear springs and shocks as well with bed replacement. Othervthan brakes and other wear parts the rest of truck is all original. Gets 18+ mpg. Old Faithfull as I refer to it.

Reliability and Longevity

Have the 06 XLT Supercab 4.6L 2valve Triton V8 model.Bought it used in 2008.First mechanical repair was fuel pump in 2019.Current has 150,000 plus miles and still runs fantastic.Had issue with paint on hood peeling starting in 2016.Plugs and coils last until 135,000 miles roughly.2valve engine has SP 493 plugs and not the 2 piece plugs found in the 5.4 3 valve.Changed myself without an issue, And I had never changed a plug prior to that on any vehicle.Has a great ride along with many accessories and aftermarket parts to add to the vehicle.Transmission code is A(All-Purpose).My vehicle has the 4R75W with 4R70 extension tail. All mechanical parts other that fuel pump, brake rotor and pads are still original..This is a very reliable vehicle and if driven 15k miles or lesd a year and serviced properly can last you close to 20 years as my vehicle will turn 16 on 8/8/2022.It outperforms the 98 explorer sport 4×4 I previously had prior to the 06 F150 which I traded in with 110,000+ miles after having it for 10 years and was still running great and was rated one of Ford's most reliable vehicles..Do the homework and when you see it has a great reliability rating like my last two vehicles had, believe it!!

It's a very nice truck overall

Overall the truck is very nice. It had some issues that needed to be addressed, but it was a used vehicle. It's very comfortable, and I would recommend this vehicle to a friend.

Great truck

Love very thing about it. Very reliable. Got new tires installed on it recently. Driver side broken spring was brought to my attention. Anyone else experience this with their truck?
