FORD F150 XLT

I just love my new F150, the truck handles so smoothly and the truck drives like I'm on air. We do a lot of kayaking and I can't wait to start to haul our kayaks.

2013 Ford F 150 extended cab tuxedo black pearl

My wife and I got more remarks on how nice this truck looks than any other truck we have owned. It has the Eco-Boost engine,so it has gobs of power. The paint is tuxedo black pearl metallic and when it is clean, it looks great. This truck is a keeper!

Does everything I ask of it

3.5 liter ecoboost with SuperCrew 4 door hauls 5 people and a 30 foot travel trailer no problem. Driven through snowstorms, ice storms, off road - it does it all!

Best Truck I've ever owned. Period! 2013 FX4 F150

If your looking for a truck look no further. The 2013 Ford F150 delivers everything a truck owner would want. With the 3.5L twin turbo eco-boost motor not only do you have more power than the 5.0 V8 but you enjoy the increase in fuel economy also! Best of both worlds. The styling of the FX4 is unbeatable. If your tired of the chrome and two-toned grandpa look then the FX4 with the painted to match bumpers, grill, and mirrors will make sure to keep you riding in style. I love the confidence this truck inspires while towing and also cruising on the interstate. The FX luxury package envelopes you in rich leather, tickles your ears with a high end stereo system, and makes sure your always comfortable with heated and cooled seats! I love my Ford FX4 F150 and i'm sure you would too!

Love the Truck

My Family has always been Ford owners. I have tried other Brands, but always came back to Ford. I bought my 2013 F150 4X4 used with 29,000 miles on it. The 5.0 has a real good sound to it when you get on it. Handles great, ride it stiff, but expected for a 4X4. Interior room it great. I don't like having to take my eyes off the road to look at the steering wheel or dash controls. I also own a 2014 Taurus Limited and the steering wheel controls are much better positioned. Back to the 5.0 engine, I owned an F250 before . The F150 doesn't compare in pulling power to the F250, but expected. I pulled a 16 foot box trailer 650 miles, loaded to the max. The truck only made 10.9 miles to the gallon. My F250 would of done better and the load would of been easily handled. I did notice the load with the F150 which the engine is rated at more horse power then my F250 was. Guess the gear ratio in the rearend may be the difference. On the way back with an empty trailer I averaged 16.3 mpg. I was expecting a little more, but much better then when loaded. I love the truck and the looks of it. I did go to the F150 not expecting to tow big heavy loads any longer as I sold my camper trailer and bass boat. I usually just tow my open 16 foot trailer with my side by side and a 4 wheeler on it. It handlers it easily, giving me 13.8 mpg. No great, but acceptable. The turbo charged V6 would give better mileage, but I love the sound of the 5.0 V8. I grew up in the muscle car days !!! Sound made the car!!!!!

Truly disappointed.

Trouble from the outset. Electrical problems that took the Ford dealer in Missoula ,Mt a year to fix, $1000 tune up two weeks ago (50,000 miles), and now the air conditioning unit needs to be replaced....again, 50,000 miles. I thought I would be patriotic in buying an American made truck, but this truck sucks. I had purchased a Ford Flex when my family was growing and the same 50,000 mile breakdown occurred. Neither the dealership nor the mothership could care less. I will never buy another Ford car or truck.

Mixed feelings!

I have mixed feelings about this 2013 Ford F-150. I love the look and I get good mileage, unless I am pulling a trailer. But the interior controls are awful! The radio and heater controls are horrible. If you were to text during driving it would be less dangerous than trying operate either of these controls without pulling over! Also the blinker switch has a mind of its own. A little bump for temporary flash or a bigger bump for continuous blinker. As it turns out, whichever one you seem to want, your going to get the other one! Either your getting honked at for not using your blinker or your driving around the world to the left! Very frustrating! I acquired this truck used, so just hoping Ford fixed these problems on the newer models.

Great handling and tie power

I really enjoy this pickup. I bought the 5.0 platinum used with 29000 miles on it. I tow a pontoon and the old saying "like there is nothing back there", really holds true. I am so comfortable in this rig. My only problem the stereo controls are cumbersome and not very fluid. I have a lot of delay in commands.

Great truck!

I have really enjoyed the power and quiet nature of the v6. King Ranch with 104,000 miles on it with purchase of an additional 100k bumper to bumper means I have no worries!
