First and last Ford F-150 I'll ever own

First domestic vehicle in my life, and destined to be my last. 2018 F-150 Lariat. Great performance and interior comfort. Without a doubt, the most unreliable vehicle I've ever owned. Cam phasers need replaced at 60k, Ford won't honor their Customer Satisfaction program (see Customer Satisfaction Program 21N03). Vehicle was purchased used, and I was never notified of the original creation of the program. It's since expired, but not like the pickups with the 3.5L Ecoboost won't eventually have the problem. Also have the IWE failure (see TSB 20-2278), and Ford won't fix under warranty. Shame on me not doing my research for how unreliable the 2017 and 2018 model years were. No wonder this one was available as a used trade in.

Done with this Truck

Pile of junk i am a ford guy to the back bone.I will never buy a ford f150 eco boost again. From transmission shutter oil supply lines to turbos failing. Then the dealership saying it’s normal . I had a 1992 never had so many problems as this xxx . Ford on a downward spiral picking up speed for failure. No doubt there are some good ones out there. One time there would always be that bad one out of the lot. Now it seems there is only one good one out of the lot. I bought this truck used with 40000 km I see why they traded it in. Then I got rid of it with 80000 km some other poor sucker stuck with it now.

2018 f150 is less of a truck than my Tundra was.

This truck is having fans running high speed. Ac expansion valve that everyone is talking about seems to be the problem. First new ford and it is my last.

Ford F150 Lariat Possible "Lemon"

Purchased new. Currently at 70,000 miles of mixed use around town, periodic extened travel, and once or twice a year using the truck with an open car hauler for classic car shows. Usually do not buy extended warranty but this time I did and it was a smart move. 1. At 60k miles, cam phasers needed to be replaced; a week in the shop (suggest searching cam phasers for Ford). 2. Paint peeling from the roof; Ford denied warranty as it did not meet their definition of corrosion. Research Ford paint problems with aluminum parts. 3. Lug Nut Replacement. Michelin tires being replaced at 69k miles and all lug nuts required replacement since they expanded and a standard lug wrench would not fit the lugs for removal (don't take my word for it...just research Ford lug nuts online). 4. Transmission, driveline woes...inconsistent banging and engaging problems but when taken to Ford, the problem wouldn't occur so no resolve to date; perhaps never will until the entire driveline fails. Postives: Comfortable, great for long trips, plenty of room, quiet, 3.5 Ecoboost is strong with torque (except for cam phaser problem), used for periodic light towing an open car hauler.

We love our F150

We have bought several vehicles from Webber since they started out as a small dealership, we where recently on the search for a another one and I immediately thought of Webber, Robby has always helped us out with our purchase, it's always fast and easy!! Very professional, the whole staff in the office are very friendly, they have reasonable prices compared to other places, I couldn't let this great deal pass. Definitely the right place to go!!!

Great Dealer and great buy

MTH was a nice surprise when we were looking for a new truck. They made us feel comfortable and made the process so easy. This truck's features included a tow package , a huge sunroof, and warm leather seats. It is a great truck and will last us for many years. Could not be happier with the truck and the customer service. This will be our car dealer for future purchases.

Smooth and strong!

My 2018 F150 XLT RWD super cab eco boost truck is everything I want in a vehicle. I’m a retired marine & truck driver. This F150 is solid on the road & has all the gadgets I need for comfort & entertainment. It cleans up shiny & I add WD40 to the moving parts. Smooth & strong, starts quickly every time regardless of conditions. I change oil & filter(s) every 5K miles & rotate the tires. No vibration. No suspicious noises. No smoke. No unusual tire wear. Still like new. Still stock height. I love it! Thank you Ford!

Frozen door latch

The only problem I have with this truck is when the temperature is below freezing I can open the door but it won't close. So I have to drive with the door open until it warms up and thaws out the latch.

Love my F-150

I have been driving my F-150 5L V8 Extended cab for the last 2 year hauling a truck camper and towing a bass boat. It has performed flawlessly. Great acceleration and a smooth comfortable ride. The gas mileage is acceptable for the load it is carrying. I honestly can't think of a downside to this truck. I looked for a couple of years to find just what I was looking for and I found it.
