2006 Ford F-350 consumer reviews

I bought this truck used last December and it's a great machine. The one I got has it's own problems, mainly around it's 5.4 triton but other than that its pretty good for a 19 year old truck. If you take care of it and keep up with maintenance than it'll last a while. If your looking to buy one just keep in mind that there will most likely be some rust.

I personally think the 6.0 Powerstroke is a great engine.. I can't stress enough the importance of using motorcraft parts. Regular maintenance and doing research is a must but when everything is right it's a beast.. Yes I would have designed a few things differently.. an external oil cooler being the biggest. 294,000 miles just replaced the transmission and getting ready to put on a new turbo. I am meticulous on maintenance and it runs great from 95 mph to 4x4 ..to hauling to pulling.

Get this, I receive a 2006 f350 super duty, dually, from my father in law, it was a custom built truck in 06 , it's a dually f350 superduty, 2wd, with a 4v 5.4 Triton, I fell in love with it, 1 of 6 truck with a special rear end, navy blue with grey trim.

6.0l is the worst engine ever.Dont ever buy it!!!!! I bought a f350 powerstroke 6.0l with 138000 miles. I barely used it after 800 miles I was pulling a trailer and pulled over to fill deisel and the truck did mnot start again. Ford asked 2000$ just to open the trunk so I towed it to a mechanic. Its been 3 months now and it's gana cost me 8000$. I'm out of buisness for 3 months now because of this truck.

Good truck for personal use as well as for work. Amazing pulling power, very comfortable. Some minor improvements can be made with engine as well as appearance to make it bulletproof

Bought this truck new and has over 400,000kms with reg maintenance.Only egr delete on the truck has been done other then that leave it stock.These are great motors and tow great.

You can not get more comfortable than this truck when hauling. It rides great without a load but I had to pull a triple axle 5th wheel. WOW rides so smooth with all the power you need. Everything is at the touch of a finger too, I mean everything from heated leather, rear slider, moon roof, Bluetooth stereo with DVD. Even the door locks was a key pad. Great truck, however, sold my 5th wheel and live in downtown Seattle so I no longer need a truck that big.

This truck had a service body on it and it is perfect for what I need. A great truck at a great price. The truck was in super clean shape and is really everything I was looking for.

Use it to pull 29' camper way up in northern Ontario (Timmins) Handles hills no problem. Main issue is lately repeated issues with turbo Need it reliable to start in remote north and all will be good

I like the truck. I don't like some of the issues it had (I.e. speedometer and tachometer not working) but now that those are fixed, I have no real complaints.
