08 f350 PSD CC
Great truck so far. Power is endless and pure. Have exceeded recommended tow weight without problems. Brakes are adequate and built in brake control works great.

WORK HORSE
ILL START WITH THE FEW BADS... I HAVE A 08 F350 SUPER DUTY, IT HAS THE 5.4 GAS ENGINE, THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE WITH THIS TRUCK IS FACTORY TOW MIRRORS. I EXPACTED FOR THE TRUCK TO HAVE GOOD POWER, BUT FOR IT SIZE BE KINDA SLOW... MY FIRST TEST WAS A 28 FOOT TRAILER, BUMPER HAUL, WITH A MUSTANG AND A CALIVLEAR ON IT...I MUST SAY GRANNY LOW IS AMAZING. I PULLED THE 2 CARS JUST FINE, I LIVE IN WV SO WE HAVE AMNY HILLS, AND I NEVER USED ANYTHING LOWER THEN 3RD ON THE HIGHWAY!! IV ALSO PUT 6K MILES ON IT IN 2 MONTHS, ITS A BEAST .

GREAT! Except.....
Great truck......except Ford insists on cheapening these three things: 1) Leather seating 2) Carpet or whatever it is on the floor (they have sure lowered their standards on the carpet, a LOT....we've had Ford for over 35 years, since 2000, they have put in a cheap thing they called carpet, even in the Lincolns. 3) A cheap coast of dust paint on some steering wheels. I had to wrap the wheel, as it cost over 500 dollars to replace it. Other than that, they are GREAT vehicles. Our Excursion, we kept, they didn't want to give us anything for it and we've had no problems in 10 years with it.

Drove all the others Liked it the best
Has plenty of power for what I need, can haul goose neck with 300 bails about 18750lb of hay plus trailer. Rough on tires have 20k and half gone due to the torque. Before buying drove all the other truck and came to the conclusion that Ford put more into there trucks. Had a welding side business installing hitches the Fords are built a lot better. Drove GMC,Chevy fast but kind of light don't think can carry as much as the Ford safely. The new Fords have more power maybe Will try the new one when this one wares out.

Best Truck Ever Made
I will only buy Ford F350's for towing - great with equipment, trailers, campers and toys! I used it for work and pleasure - rides like a dream with my airbags. Bully Dogs are awesome in this truck - worth the investment!

Works Great
Great Truck. Never had a problem. Hauls more and tows more than any other truck on the market. When I go to pick up roofing materials, people come out to look at them loading the truck up because they have never seen so much weight on a truck. It handles 2 pallets of shingles with ease... which would probably pancake the chevy and the Ram wouldn't be able to move. When I sell mine it will be to get another Ford Superduty.

reliability is severly lacking
We bought a this new ford diesel truck thinking they fixed there engine problems from there previous models. We used the truck pulling heavy equipment. After about 30k miles we already started having problems with the engine. We took it in several times to get the engine fixed, but still never had the power it did when we first got it. With facing the fact that we were going to run out of a warranty soon we traded this truck off and got a GMC truck. DO NOT buy ford.

Works Without Complaining
I bought a 2008 F 350 Diesel Dually, crew cab Lariat long bed and I love it! I own a landscaping company and almost every mile I drive the truck is there towing trailers or hauling topsoil, mulch, stone etc. No plowing but I would love to see it do that next winter. The truck starts up and runs awesome, even when it's cold out, no problems getting warm inside with the supplemental cab heater. The interior is very inviting and allows us to get work done on the drive back to the office or to job sites. Ample space in the back row for people/tools or whatever. Leather seats are a breeze to clean. Other things I love are the rear back-up sensor that allows us to hitch right up without repositioning the truck. Integrated Trailer controller works like the $200 after market one we had on our last truck. The transmission we have is the 4.10 limited slip, seemless shifting and power delivery from the engine to the wheels, even when it's pulling 14,000#. It moves without crying or any hickups. The exterior is nice, like the new bold design. Heated mirrors and powerscope help a lot when you have trailers behind you or for changing lanes...and checking on the load periodically. Ever since we got this truck we have been playing tons more music because of the 6CD changer as well. Great sound around the whole cabin. Furthermore, I love the tailgate step!! Why didn't someone do this years ago before we were getting old!!? Overall, this truck is very comfortable inside, for long drives or short ones. It does work towing or carrying anything. Brakes are responsive and non of that mushy faded feel you get on other trucks. That makes driving more relaxed and comfortable knowing not only the truck can accelerate the load but stop it safely as well. The only drawback is the fuel economy, stop-n-go driving kills it but the highway we can pull off 14-16 towing or 18-22 empty. I would strongly recommend this truck to friends and we hope to add them to our growing fleet as we grow in the future.
