Love the long bed and towing capabilities

Had as a daily driver but needed it for our 5th wheel trailer that we used 3-6 times a year. Never had any big issues

very reliable

my 08' lariat f350 crew cab w/ 6.4L had very good luck w/ it, I never had it in the shop for major repairs. I replaced batteries , radiator hoses, tires, & did some exhaust work. hauled lots of heavy loads w/o a problem & still drives great after 89K miles & still has lots of life left in it.

Money pit!!!!

I went through the whole motor and rebuilt it. I replaced the pistons that crack, the expensive fuel pump that xxxxs metal and ruins all 8 injectors, the fuel filter, with a fast system, and head studs. The motor is a good motor once all the flaws are fixed but it cost me about $15,000 and that was with me doing most of the work myself. Oh...and the cab has to come off to do any major engine work. Dumb!!

Piece of xxxx

Bought it used for $20,000. Had to spend another $20,000 in the first six months to keep it running. Do not buy one. This truck was the biggest financial mistake I've ever made.

What a money pit!

Bought this truck brand new. Had the towing pkg installed at the factory. Had it almost 10 years, never got the bugs out of the trailer monitoring system. Had it looked at countless times. At 60,001 miles (thereabouts) I put a whole new engine in it. $16K. This is b/c there was (I'm not a car guy but it was explained to me almost a decade ago) a part that, DUE TO DESIGN FLAW, starts spewing water and steam where it doesn't go. Then at about 72,000 we had to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system, AGAIN due to stupid design. In this case there was a part in the fuel system that actually dissolves into the fuel line over the course of enough time (apparently nine years). Another $12,000. So after we spent almost $50,000 on the BRAND NEW truck (and we got the "X" discount), we ended up putting in another $28,000 in repairs! I understand that the one year (2008) was a lemon, and that particular engine was a lemon. But that was one of my 2 Fords. My 1970 Stang was better.

This thing can pull a house, if need be.

After years of other pickups barely making it pulling trailers, my son said, “get a super duty”! I have one now and haven’t looked back since. It’s a real truck, capable of real work. I couldn’t be happier.
