Lemon since purchasing

Ive owned my 2011 Ford Fiesta Hatchback SE for 3 years. It was certified pre-owned and had 40k mi on it. It now has 115k. Its fairly comfortable for front seat driver and passenger. Im 6' and had plenty of legroom; however, if you sat behind me you'd only have about 4" of legroom seat end to seat back. No centerstack leaves plenty of hip space but, not too many places to store misc items. The cupholders are small and only accomodate smaller sizes, which can be a bummer for some fast food. I like the simplicity of the console, but its a bit far of a reach from the drivers seat and takes quite a bit if attention from the road when manipulating the controls. I have Ford SYNC and to be completely honest its the worst wireless system with the lowest reliability. Plug an AUX cord in and it works like magic most of the time. Love, love, love the HID headlights that came equipped with the car upon purchase. Im unsure if they're aftermarket, but I doubt I'll be able to buy another car without them. Cargo room is mediocre and you're probably better off with a trunk unless you need the height or 45 deg folded seats. The rear security shade was both a blessing and a curse as its easy to remove but also easy to accidentally bump out of place or catch material on the cords that hold it in place. When the car runs its fairly mediocre with a sportier eco granny engine lol. Theres anywhere from 3-5 sec of lag when opening the throttle but once it kicks in, burn rubber. I get anywhere from 25-35mpg depending on my driving and in Missouri it only takes $20 to fill the tank. A major qualm I have with the spedometer is something Ford probably wont tell you .... to get their eco efficiency, the car reads five mph slower than your actual spead. For example: if the spedometer reads 45 mph, your true speed is only 40mph ... and I only wondered for about a year why so many people were passing me horns blazing. My biggest concern and issue for everyone is reliability. Thank God for the car having a warranty. Within a few weeks of buying the vehicle the clutch needed to be replaced. 3 months later another clutch was installed, about 5 months after that another clutch was istalled. It lasted about a year and then ... guess what ... needed a new clutch!? And then ..... currently trying to sell it because once again ... THE CLUTCH GOT REPLACED!!!!! Ford!? Needless to say Im reviewing my Lemon Laws again. Id love to give it 4 stars or higher but due to my experience and its unreliability Im stuck giving it a 2 star.

It is an amazing car!

The car ride was very smooth, it is spacious for its size and I plan on getting it soon as I believe it is my ideal car. Loved it !

Never would recommend

I would not recommend this car to anyone even if it is considered cheap or economical. I had a 99 Hyundai Accent that ran so much better then this 2011 Ford Focus. My Ford is coming up with more problems then my 99' Accent. If I could go back to the Hyundai and have no car payment, but an old car then I would. My car payment is not worth this Fiesta. I read comments/reviews about the transmission having issues, and they are NOT kidding. That is what I am worried about right. All in all, if I could go back in time and tell them no, I do not want this Fiesta then I would.I would also never personally recommend Fiestas.

Transmission is junk

Car has a nice design but after 35000 miles the transmission started to studder and felt like you were going to get thrown out of the windshield. Ford replaced the clutches and 35000 miles later it’s doing it again ford knows there’s a problem but won’t own up to it per all the other complaints, ford customer care told me that maybe I’m just not use to that type of transmission since I’ve only been driving a car for 35 years but hay the car looks nice in the driveway

Good For The Price

Small, reliable car. Cheap on insurance. Good amount of trunk space, but cramped inside the car. Not flashy, but not trying to be either. Great starter car for new drivers.

Awesome Car

This used car meet my expectations. Though some of the device feature doesn?t work but surely it makes the worth and MPG is great as it?s fuel efficient. I am looking forward to have a safe driving on snow season since it is a small efficient car.

Stay Away From This Model

Very little room, but I wasn't too worried about that. Unfortunately, this vehicle has needed a significant amount of work due to the transmission design which has resulted in a number of problems and constant repairs.

Good car

I like the fuel efficiency, the feel, and although it isn?t powerful it?s peppy because of the light weight. Interior and exterior are not anything special but it?s a solid car.

Best gas mileage I could have asked for.

This car will run forever if you take care of it properly. The Ford Fiesta gets outstanding gas mileage and has a decent amount of room in the trunk/hatch area.
