Fail

I bought a new car for reliability and I had to be towed for the 3rd time in 3 months period. The car is giving all kind of messages and it had to be re programmed in the dealership. The dealership is taking their time, they don't care how you'll go to work Monday morning.I'll never buy a Ford car again

Fantastic commuter car

I purchased this car as a daily driver to my office 71 miles away. It is very comfortable for a small car - plenty of head room, heated seats, lots of bells and whistles. I average 39 MPG in mostly highway driving. The car has a very solid feel and the ride is smooth and quiet. It uses the Ford dual-clutch automatic transmission which is basically a manual that shifts itself. It shifts like a manual and some people complains about it. I personally like it. The only thing I would add is a driver's center armrest - there are aftermarket armrests available.

Key Concerns

My electronic keys quit working after a year and a half. When I opened the keys, they only had one battery instead of the two the manual says they have. There is no way to take out the old battery without the key falling apart. I suggest taking the key to a service dept. to get the battery replaced, then when the key falls apart you wont be charged several hundred dollars for replacements.

BAD BAD BAD! CHANGE YOUR MIND NOW!

NO! I was so excited when i first bought this car when it came out, picked mine up in june of 2011 brand spanking new. I slowly started noticing the "ISSUES" with this car, much like already mentioned by my fellow fiesta owners the transmission has no clue whats going on, feels like it slips in and out of place, shakes and stalls at stop lights, i dont feel i should have to wait for the car to catch up with whats going on inside it. It looks super cute yes, but beware. I also have the issues with feeling sideways in a parking spot, Overall i wouldnt reccomend this car especially when ford refuses to fix or recoginze the car is having such issues.......

Love it!

My daughter bought a 2011 Ford Fiesta about 18 months ago ... one of the first ones to arrive in town! I bought mine "used" with 5,000 miles on it ... it is a basic model and I love it! We are very pleased with BOTH of our 2011 Ford Fiestas. My daughter's has the "sync" feature, which doesn't recognize a female's voice well. That's our only complaint with it. I get 31-33 mpg city.

Car is great!

I am delighted with the Ford Fiesta I found online at Cars.com. I could not have found it without their service and appreciate the dealerships that advertise on the their site. I have bought 3 cars now, sight unseen, off the Internet ---- all from out of town dealers. This is about the 5th Ford product we have owned.

Good car for the $$$$

I boought this hatchback SE with SFE package. Mileage is great. Gets 37 around town, over 40 on highway. Car is very quiet and perky and corners well. Interior is well appointed, does not feel like a little car when driving it. I have 7000 on it now and it is a terrific little car. It doesn't have a spacious back seat for passengers, but rear seats fold down to make a nice space.

beware

I gave this car a good rating right after I got it, and it seemed like a good car for the money. I'm noy so sure now. The Transmission doesn't act right. It is a six speed automatic. It jerks and doesn't seem to shift at the right times. At a red light or stop sign on just a little hill when most cars hold while sitting and idling my Fiesta will roll. Another thing is that when I pull into a parking place it looks like I'm crooked between the lines when i look through the windows. If anyone else has this problem please let me no. in a post at this web site. Also we went on a little trip and this is the first car I have ever owned that didn't have a place your cloths. It gets great gas milage, and is fairly comfortable. Thanks Mike

Best In Class!

I'm at 20k miles on my Fiesta and still love it more and more every day! I have an SES (hatchback) with the 6-Speed PowerShift automatic transmission; I did not opt for the Intelligent Access, leather trim, or heated seats. I bought the Fiesta for it's low MPG, low price for the features available, and styling. Some people have had trouble with the PowerShift, since it's a new technology for Ford, but mine has worked flawlessly. It isn't a "slushbox" automatic, you do feel/notice the shifting, but it functions very smoothly. The car learns your driving style the first 3k miles and the transmission and MPG improve noticeably after that. I'm a member of a Fiesta enthusiast web forum: www.fiestafaction.com/forums and have found the community to be help before and since I bought my Fiesta. I recommend it as a resource to any prospective buyers!
