Pleasantly Surprised

Primarily bought the Fiesta hoping it got at the mileage advertised. Am getting 34+ in town 44+ hwy. Much better than the 12/17 mpg I was getting with my truck.

Best car for your money

This car was purchased new way under the price as others dealerships. The car ran quiet, no road noise, and gets very good gas mileage. I'm very pleased with my car and would recommend it for people who don't want to spend a lot of money for a car.

Great Value

I bought the base S version for my daughter a few months ago, and have driven it a good bit myself. Overall, it has been a great product, exceptionally quiet for such a small vehicle. Even the base sound system and electronics are very good. The automatic slips INTENTIONALLY at idle, which is a mileage-design feature. This takes a little getting used to. We have gotten an honest 41 MPG on the Interstate, which beats the EPA highway estimate slightly. For a lot less money than a Hybrid, it is very economical to operate. I love the capless gas filler. The seats have a solid, firm feel, which I prefer.

Bad transmission clutch assembly

Ford did a recall 3 months after I bought my new Fiest2012 with automatic transmission for the transmission clutch assembly that I had a year to come it and they would fix it free. they said that the car would eventually start to vibrate and damage the transmission if I did not get it fixed. Ford has not trained their mechanics. After being told that the mechanic had to read the manual to conduct the fix thus delaying getting it back, they finally returned the car. Now the transmission grinds considerably, and there's a engine shutter between 0 and 5 mph. I returned it they said they did something to the main computer and Ford told them to tell me to drive it for 1000 miles and the noise would go away (I'm now 500 miles into the 1000). The noise is getting worse the more I drive it. The service salesman said he would not be surprised if I called back in 1000 miles. My beef is did Ford know about this problem when they sold me the car in Nov 11. Why didn't Ford train their mechanics to do the fix. I originally liked this car, it has great gas mileage, look and feel, but the transmission problem is terrible, I would not recommend buying this car to anyone and I tell people so.

Excellent car for the money

I love this car. It does not drive like a small car and performed well on snow-covered roads. The Fiesta has lots of cutting-edge technology and was an excellent value!

Im having a FIESTA

This Fiesta sedan is honestly the best car I ever had for real. I had an Infiniti, Hondas, and Toyotas and a couple of other imports and non of them don't compete with this Fiesta. It has more than enough interior room than you would expect in a small car like this. The car is very well designed and engineered. It drives and handles well. It has enough power whenever its needed. The ride is comfortable and quiet and the gas mileage is incredible. I get 37mpg mixed driving. I never had a car that even got more than 35mpg highway so I really do love this car. It fits my budget really well.

Great car

I love this car! I have the SE Sedan with automatic and cruise. It is a very nice looking car, rides smooth, handles well, and very-very quiet inside. It is a sub-compact, so dont expect an abundance of room, but my average sized family of 4 fits comfortably. The mileage is awesome thus far (just under 1k driven) 38 mpg avg by manual calculation on ~60/40 hwy/cty miles. 46mpg on the first freeway trip!

Pleasantly Surprised; Awesome base Price/Value

After much time and energy researching - - bought base sedan model w/ Auto for $15k - bought for daughter, economy, and safety - smoothest automatic shift ever driven - getting 40+ mpg highway - 5 star frontal crash ratings 4/5 side crash - power sufficient, roomier inside than expected - am 6'2'' and actually not bad for me to drive - came std w/ pwr windows, steering, internal locks - came std w/ a/c, rear defrost, tire pressure, etc. - best subcompact value for the money - 5 year roadside assistance - total peace of mind - confident will easily get her through 2 more years of high school and 4 years college IF you can find one then take it for a spin

Heap of Junk

I had the opportunity to drive a friends new 2012 Ford Fiesta and I could say I was NOT impressed! The transmission was acting up already (slipping ) and the comfort of my drive was terrible. My back was sore by the time I got to my destination due to the lack of seat adjustments. The car lacked interior quietness as you can really hear the engine noise. I had to turn the radio on so I wouldn't hear it so bad. IMHO this car screams CHEAP! and is overpriced for what you get. I would rather ride my 10 speed bike! I would give this car a huge THUMBS DOWN!.
