2013 Ford Fiesta consumer reviews

I purchased a 2013 Ford Fiesta S. out of desperation. My 1999 Dodge Dakota was declared unsafe during inspection. It couldn't have happened at a worse time. I was flat broke facing a 40-mile daily commute. I was driving a rental that was costing me over 300 bucks a week. I was desperate to purchase a vehicle (The absolute worse way to purchase a car). I narrowed my choices to the Chevy Sonic and the Ford Fiesta Hatchback. The Fiesta S. was priced approximately 4,000 dollars less than the Sonic so I bought the Fiesta. This was a bare-bones vehicle with hand-cranked windows and steel wheels. Over my Five years of ownership, I added a new stereo, alloy wheels with new rubber and snow tires. The performance was anemic: Ford's 1.6-liter Duratec coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission. I couldn't wait to get rid of this car.....and then something happened. The car grew on me. First of all even with the lack of performance parts this was one of the best handling cars I ever owned. It was so much fun to drive on twisty roads. Sure I got dusted by Priuses at stop lights but put me on a S curve and I was hard to beat. The manual tranny almost made up for the lack of power (almost). I don't think I've ever loved driving a vehicle more. If the S was this much fun what must the ST be like? Unfortunately, I probably will never know. Family obligations were forcing me to purchase a larger vehicle then Ford inexplicably announced that they would no longer sell the Fiesta in the U.S. I traded it in over the Memorial Day holiday. The whole time I was thinking about running out of the showroom and hopping into my little curve carver. To xxxx with family obligations. Let's go have some fun.

This car has met all my needs plus more. Fantastic gas mileage, beautiful sporty design, very comfortable. The only problem I have is always having to reconnect through my blue tooth to play my music. Other than that it's fantastic!

I owned a 2013 Ford Fiesta for about 5.5 years while going to school and working. I would drive close to 60 miles a day commuting, and it was always super reliable. Power train transmission had quite a few recalls, especially regarding a shudder upon starting acceleration, however, I did not see much of that in my vehicle. Another common problem with smaller Ford vehicles is the blend door actuator which causes a knocking for 5 to 20 seconds when the A/C is turned on or off, but it's supposed to be a $60 fix if you go to the right place.

The car runs great. I'm all legs so I have to bow my knees a bit to get in under the steering wheel, but otherwise it's been great!

I found this car secondhand from a Ford car dealership in 2017..only having 24000km on the clock..Being a 2012 WT Ford Fiesta Sedan Auto. I found it very cheap to run on petrol and drives well on the road..I like the 1.6 Lt engine that gives's it enough power and she pulls well up hills without a problem..I am very happy with my buy...but I am sad, the new model on the market the 2018 has a much smaller engine..that is gutless with not enough power..spoiling the small car market or you can buy other cars now with a 1.4 LT engine..that is again is gutless on the road and you have no power to overtake other cars...The whole small car market isn't as good as this 2012 model..I will keep it for many years to come with good airbags, especially, giving the driver Knee protection..that other cars don't have..like all cars they have their own issues..but this one ticks my box.

While it had some issues with the automated manual transmission in year 2, it has been issue free for 3 years after reprogramming by the dealer. Great gas mileage, I fill up every 3 weeks. More interior room than you would think. Great little car for the $$'s

Nice car I wanted a small car and this is a nice small car. I looked at some other small car and this one fit the bill.

Reliable car to get you from point A to point B. Easiest stick shift you?ll ever drive. Decent for long distance travel. Great gas mileage. Never been in an accident. Plenty of room for passengers. Lots of trunk space. All around great car.

I have had to have the clutch replaced twice, the audio control module is out and the transmission sounds terrible; metal on metal rubbing and clanking noise when it shifts. Very disappointed.

This car meets the needs of travel distance in family size of three I would recommend it to any of my friends and family and looking forward to purchasing one in the future.
