"I think I got a lemon"
My car had a major computer component go out at under 1000 miles and I should have known that was only the beginning. Since then the repairs have stacked up! I even had the transmission replaced just after the 30,000 mark. Thank goodness I purchased the maintaince plan because even the dealership told me they probably wouldn't have replaced the transmission, but I had the plan. Now you get 50,000 instead of 30,000, but BEWARE and remember,... you get what you pay for!

1 thing needs changed
the air flow vents on the dashboard area does not point in the correct direction to cool the driver. The angle is not correct. To get the full affect you must move your right hand off the stering wheel from the 3oclock position, something I feel could turn into a probable situation. Otherwise I am very happy with my focus. Thank you!

Just the best all around.
Could use a little bit more power in a basic engine, but other then that it is just awesome. Better then Acura it replaced. It is much better in price/performance to any comparable Japanese car.

Not a very reliable car but good in the snow.
I have had this car for about 4 years and I have only had about 10 problems. But most with the engine. The gas mileage when I bought it brand new was about 30 MPG, now that the engine is not tuned, I only get about 12MPG. That is not very good, some diesel pickup trucks do better than that. Overall, this car is not the best car to own, but when you can't afford anything else, this would probably be a good car for you. As long as after a while you can pay for gas at 12MPG.

OK to average
This car is OK. For the money for a new car, I would prefer used Honda Civic or Accord. The Focus is an OK car, but I feel i would have gotten more for my money with a used Honda. Plus the resale value wasn't what i expected. Other than that, it drove well and always started in the winter.

Most Practical Car Ever
This is the most practical car I've ever owned. It has basic features with non of the fluff. Best gas mileage for it's class. We typically get about 30mpg/city in the summer and 26 mpg during the Minnesota winters. Plenty of cargo room with and without the back seat folded down. I've hauled plenty with my many trips to Home Depot. We have 62k on it and haven't had any problems.
