Lovely With A Touch of Lemon

This vehicle has great styling inside and out, and a more than ample amount of seating and storage room for a hatchback. It gets great gas mileage, and is quite comfortable and dependable on highway trips. However, this car has leaking issues in several areas throughout. The car has a sunroof, however, the leaks seem to be most prevelant on the front passenger floor area and just above the driver's head along the top of the door frame. As this issue is not covered by Ford, I would recommend purchasing the model without a sunroof, or buy an extended warranty with it.

Great reliable car

This car is great on gas and I love to drive it everyday. It gets 33 mpg and that's what I need. I pay $20 to fill up and I'm good to go. It's a great economy car.

Best all around car I have ever owned

This is my second Focus, and once again I love these cars. Extremely reliable, dependable, classy little car that gets amazing fuel economy. Best of all, very affordable for what you get. This time I bought the Titanium package, and it has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car at a fraction of the cost. You can't go wrong with one of these.

One of Ford's best offerings...

The gas mileage is good (36+ Avg.), good comfort, good styling, excellent handling and good performance. This car in my opinion is one of the best values that Ford offers. Although it has had a few recalls and design flaws including a very poor implementation of the dual clutch automatic transmission... Ford has so far been good about replacing defective parts and repairing the car under warranty. Also, the Sync system in this model year is very poor... Almost like they released the system before it was complete or used inferior electronic circuitry... Anyway, as far as Ford products go, I have been happy with this car... And almost everything out on the market today has it's own issues or recalls while being outrageously overpriced!

Not bad for a domestic brand

For a used first car, I think I made a decent choice with it. It was in this candy blue metallic that stood out among the rest of the cars in the lot, and after some hard negotiations, I got a somewhat decent deal of about 13.5 grand for it. It had 26,900 miles. I put about 1,200 miles on it since, and I haven't had problems with it yet. I'll probably write another review with pretty much an update on it. I was concerned regarding the reliability of the car, but so far it has not let me down yet. I have driven my mom's Toyota Camry before, and between the two cars, the Ford Focus SE is just simply better at handling. The suspension seems slightly stiff, but it is an economy car after all; I'm not asking it to do like quarter-mile drag races in the low 11's or anything, just wanted a car that could get me to school, have some character, and be reliable. So far, I am impressed with Ford, but if it does start to give me problems after 50k miles, might just have to be sticking with the Japanese brands.

Good Commuter Car

Whether commuting to work or driving long road trips, this car is comfortable and takes the road nice. It is good a good car for a single person since it is smaller. Very good on gas and a pretty good car overall
