Lots for the price

Overall excellent mid-sized car. Lots of features for the price. PRO's: - Gas mileage on 4-cyl - Lots of gadgets - auto-headlights and wipers - Blindspot detectors - Dual climate controls very nice - Easy to drive - Backup camera (didn't think I would like this, but it's excellent) - Comfortable (with leather seats - except for headrest) - Roomy trunk - Power seats CON's - Navigation and Sirius console very cluttered and confusing. Not user friendly - Cockpit controls in general not not intuitive or ergonomic - Phone integration confusing and doesn't always work as expected - Headrest fixed and can be annoying uncomfortable because of the forward position - Passing power with 4-cyl a little concerning in emergencies, but it is a 4-cyl - Driver visibility is OK, but not great. Blindspot detector is a must. - Handles like it is a much bigger car than it is, which is both good and bad. - No memory setting option for power seats. A 2-driver car is a little annoying.

Fusion Review

Great car for family. My only complaint is that it is not the best car in the snow. We did not get the AWD MODEL and will be purchasing snow tires for sure. Comfortable, Nice Ride and plenty of room for a small family. We really love this car!

Second Fusion

My first Ford was a 2010 Fusion SE. I loved the car som much, I decided to rade in on a 2011 and add the extended warranty into the laon. This way, I can keep this car for several years. I would and have recommended this vehicle to friend and will continue to do so.

Excellent Value

I just bought a Fusion in January (2011) and I am very pleased with it. I also test drove a Chrysler Sebring and a Ford Mustang. The Sebring because I liked its styling and fuel economy and the Mustang for its looks and the new 31 mpg engine. The Fusion gets superior gas mileage to both cars and has the feel of a much higher quality car than the Sebring (and it is much quieter). The Mustang looks and rides great but I really needed a four-door car with room for five and the Mustang has an almost worthless back seat. I drive 75 miles per day, mostly on the freeway, and I am getting right around 35 mpg with the Fusion. Great mileage for a relatively big mid-size car that seats five comfortably but still has plenty of pep. The Fusion is also sharp looking, quiet and the base four cylinder "S" model I purchased has an automatic transmission with power everything plus a CD player, A/C, alloy wheels, etc. In short, the Fusion is a great value with plenty of style, comfort and extras and it has all the power you need in a mid-size car. I highly recommend it.

Finally A Mid-size dream

Rates with the most popular mid-size vehicles on the market. Superior interior design with room and comfort setting features. Smooth drive with excellent road grabbing turning radius. Nice, sleek exterior design and excellent V-6 power boost. Best mid-size car on the market for this price range.

Can see why it was car of the year

Bought my 2011 Fusion Sport in Nov.2010. It came down to the Fusion or the MKZ. Liked them both, the dealer said the Fusion was the same size inside as the MKZ. When I sat in the back seat in the MKZ,my head rubbed on the headliner & in the Fusion it didn't,I'm 6'3". The gas mileage in Fusion was a little better than the MKZ,but the MKZ had a lot more options, but it was $8,000. more. I drove it to Florida from Ohio & I averaged 29 mpg & I drove between 70 & 75 mph. One tank I got 30.6 mpg. With 263 HP I had no trouble passing cars in a flash. The car responds quicker than 263 HP feels more like 300+. Very quiet ride, like the MKZ!

Fusion confirms my trust in Fords

I've always been a steady driver of Ford vehicles, from the Escort, the Contour (only bad experience), the Explorer, and even another Escort. I have the 2011 Ford Fusion SEL with AWD. I love it! Handles like an SUV with AWD (comparing it to the Highlander, any Subaru). The options are just awesome! I don't have the rear camera (really think that would be a bit odd), but the rear sensing feature comes in handy when backing out of a parking lot. Alerts of people, or being close to cars. The Sync system is great. So easy to use. I've just gotten over 1,400 miles on it since getting it in January. Car had to be picked up in Massachussetts and driven to NY to my dealership. The gas mileage is something I hope will improve after it gets it's first oil change, etc. Maybe it's still in a "breaking in" period. But, that isn't a huge deal. I think it's just a little bit more gas hungry than 4 cyl. model cars, but no worse that I used to get in an '06 Explorer.
