Great Car for the Money

I have only had this car for 2 weeks but I like everything about it with exception of power and acceleration, That is a small compromise for better gas mileage. Very quiet inside and doors are heavy and solid sounding when you close them. Handles very well, smooth ride. I will be making business calls so having the Synch panel capability is well worth the extra $700 or so.

Ford Fusion - Awful noise!!

I purchased this car New in October 2013 because my 14 year old commuter was past its prime. Originally I was very pleased with this vehicle and I got pretty decent gas milage with it. Since I drive around 90 miles a day for work that was a big bonus. However, after putting around 800 miles on it a high-pitched noise showed up. The noise is similar to an old TV set or light bulb, very high frequency, very annoying. Ever since then I have been starting my day with a headache due to the noise. I cant even drown it out with the radio. I have been to 3 different dealerships to get this corrected and they all give me a story about how the "technician" can't hear it. I have had over a dozen people tell me they can hear it, including 2 (non-technician) Ford employees. The look is nice and the styling is to my taste, but the reason I only give 2 stars is because I can't stand the noise and the guaranteed headaches everyday. Not to mention the poor service attempts at fixing it. If I had a short commute it might not be as big of an issue, but I don't.

2014, new, but I like it

I just bought this vehicle a week or so ago. I have taken it on about 600 miles so far, but I really like the vehicle. A few things I have to say about it. The styling is amazing. It has a very sporty look, masculine and aggressive for a 4 door "family" sedan. The front end indeed mirrors the Astin Martin, but has some differences, and it is fun. The seating is extremely comfortable. I am a very tall person, and have trouble finding vehicles that will work for my height. This car has tons of head room, leg room and the seats are incredibly comfy. It is easy to get in and out of, and while driving to and from work, it is extremely comfortable. The engine seems to have plenty of power. I live in one of the "flat land" states, so there aren't a lot of hills, but entrance onto the highway and when needed power to pass, it was there. The car has decent take off, but it really shines when passing on the highway at speed. The mileage is incredible. I traded in a jaguar S Type, using premium only, and getting around 18 combined MPG. Now using regular, I am seeing a combined MPG of around 27 MPG and am thrilled. The difference is amazing, and I still have the power I need (maybe not all I want, but certainly all I need). 19 inch wheels, 6 speed auto (with paddle shift) and the "sport mode" all make for a fun, economical and practical vehicle. Like I said, haven't had it long, but so far I am VERY happy with the car. I'd recommend it to family and friends...so that says a lot.
