2006 Ford Mustang consumer reviews

Picture this: you are a young 20 something looking for their first fast car or at the least, a stylish ride. You don't care about mpg or a good ride. You just want to go fast. This will do the job just right and will do it day in and day out with little to no issues. I have owned an 06 gt mustang for over three years now and I love the car but there are a few things to consider. First, do not believe the fuel mileage rating. I drive 65 most days and average 16 mpg city and highway. Second, the ride is not great so if you have back problems or any chronic pains you may want to avoid one of these. Third, check your cabin air filter everytime you get an oil change. There is a drain plug under the filter in the same area that can get clogged, causing water to build up and splash through the filter into the cab near the fuse box and soaking the carpet (causing mold if you don't get to it in time). My advice would be to buy this as a weekend Warrior and enjoy it that way. Only problem (besides aforementioned drain issue) was a generator issues that was easily solved and only cost $200 to fix. Been smooth sailing for 65,000 miles since then so it's dead reliable.

I currently own a Ford Mustang and I am completely in love, it only takes 30$ to fill up and it lasts from sun-Thursday depending on where I'm going people usually have a lot to say about ford cars but mine is fast, convenient, and the maintenance was a breeze since it's an American muscle

I love this vehicle it blows my mind to own one again some day. It's so modern and the horse power is inderestimated by others. I would love to one day have the mustang in the past.

2006 Mustang Convertible -purchased it in 2017 with 110,000 km. This car is a gem -just like brand new and bought for a "steal"-never winter driven -original paint and "flawless" interior. V-6 / 5 speed manual , but moves like a rabbit ! Did I mention the "Shaker" sound system... lol -awesome !! I cant say enough of this fine car !!

2006 Ford Mustang was my most favorite vehicle I've owned. Very roomy in the front. The back not so much. Very reliable, decent gas mileage. Overall outstanding car that made my life amazing!

Bought this car used as my son's first car with 59000 actual miles - one owner local trade in. Put a few accessories on it and he loves it. Great first car that's a true part of American history. 4.0 L V6 has plenty of power with decent mpg. Classic styling that'll always be loved!

Amazing except it could have used a little more room. I miss this car so much. I would recommend this car to anyone especially ones who love Mustangs.
