One of the most reliable cars I owned
Just reached 189k miles on the V6 mustang 2006. One of th best cars I owned, never had any serious problems besides the regular maintaince and few other minor repairs. Would reccomend it.

Amazing car!
This car is a dream come true. American muscle car that you can never go wrong by buying one of these. Premium model with leather seat just makes it more special and you does not look like a used car with leather seats.

For the individual of raw driving skills
This belongs to the generation of Mustangs that started the "classic look for the modern car" - the 2005-2009 line. I think it was this generation of Mustang who started it all, followed by the likes of the Camaro, the Challenger, even Bugatti's Veyron, Mercedes' SLS AMG, Fiat 500, and many others. I had my 2006 GT convertible premium (Torch Red/Black) in 2008 and I am very proud to have it. Here's the thing: It doesn't have onboard GPS. No Bluetooth. No backup rear cameras, lane departure sensors, collision detectors, automatic braking, auto-pilot, nor a fancy dedicated telephone line that calls a lady who then calls 9-1-1. It doesn't even do a decent handling (compared the latest models of Mustangs that feature an Independent-Rear-Axle System). I think the most "techy" safety measure that my car ever had is the presence of a TCS, an ABS, and a couple of airbags (which turned out to be deficient recently according to a recall, so technically, I *don't* have airbags now). That's it. That said, it should be blatant by now that this car is absolutely NOT for the average driver. The average driver, who, in my personal definition, likes to have a soda the left, a burger on the right, and a cell phone on his ear all at the same time running at 140km per hour, the drivers who like putting on makeup while driving ...and certainly not for most Nevada locals (joke. Maybe.) This car requires a driver that loves driving more than anything else. This is for the driver who knows the rules of the road, knows the braking distance of the car at any range of speed, This is for those who drive like they have five eyes around their head that are always open, which essentially means "checks their side mirrors often and uses turning signals". I'm not saying that this car "sucks". What I want to relay to the world is that this car is only for drivers who *do not suck* at driving. It may not be the best car out there and even the Camaro can outperform it, but this car is a real legend by name, looks, and reputation.
