Reliable and funny car!

This car met all I needs, beautiful Exterior styling, reliable. I just forgot test a baby cars seat installed in rear seat before buy the car! My daughter have 3 years old and for her is a little uncomfortable due the small space on rear seat. Anyway the fuel economy isn't bad for a 6 cylinder sport car, and the trunk have a good space, and in general is a nice car!

Just fun to drive

Ordered the car from the factory. The power of the V8 coupled to the rear axle through the 5 speed manual is a real kick in the pants. The car handles well. Aside from the alternator/battery issues that Ford is ignoring, the car has been a breeze to maintain. Over 100k on the clock and she is still going strong. The convertible top is smooth and has been much quieter than other convertibles I have driven. Really love this car.

Reliable & fun

The car was a blast to drive. Very reliable, had to for 10 years and very few repairs. Very good value for the money.

Vastly Improved from the 1960's

I owned a brand new Ford Mustang when they came out with the Mustang Mach 1 in 1969. I had just got out of college, and the Mustang was my present to myself. It was Aztec Blue Metallic with Reflective Gold stripes on the side and tail. It was a blast to own. Fast, pretty, and a very high fun to drive/fun to own factor. Fast forward 37 years to 2006, and the Ford "Retro" design of the 1960's Mustang. I knew I had to have another one as my Mach 1 (though long gone) was my favorite car that I ever owned. In comparing the new "Retro" Mustang to the original, there really is not much of a comparison. The new model is more powerful, more efficient, a more eye appealing style, and a more comfortable and fun car to drive. The screaming yellow car that I own is a GT Premium model and is a quantum leap in automotive technology. The engine is smaller than the 351 in the Mach 1, but makes more power, and gets better mileage. The transmission is stronger, and shifts better. The sound system cannot be compared to what was available in 1969. The Mach 1 had an AM radio, and 8 track tape players became available in about 1970 where I lived. If you have always like Mustangs, but cannot afford the $40,000 for a new GT that the Mega Dealers want these days, you would probably be happy with a 2005 to a 2014 model, if you can find one that has been cared for. I love my 2006 Mustang GT!

Great car for an entry level or young enthusiast

Overall amazing car. Only reason I sold mine is because multiple car seats don't agree with the vehicles interior design. One will be perfect though.

Pretty looking car

The interior and exterior look great. Handles great, easy to drive. 8 cylinder engine sounds cool and has more than enough power. No regret for buying it.
