My sixth Mustang

I have owned several Mustangs, mostly vintage, one Fox body. This Mustang GT has the style of the vintage Mustangs I have owned combined with above average performance in every category. It is not the best handling, braking, or accelerating. What it is, is very good at all of these combined with an acceptable entry price. The biggest drawback I have found to date is the car is heavy, almost 3400 lbs. Compared to my '89 Mustang at 2850 lbs, it is very noticeable. The performance in stock trip is impressive, but won't set any records. Most enthusiests complaints would be addressed with a couple of Ford Racing packages, FR1 & FR3. Ford already has a car on the lot so equipped, the Shelby GT (not GT500) sporting an extra 25 horsepower and better handling.

I love this car!!!

After all these years somebody at Ford hit a homerun. I got the V6 with manual and Pony Package. This car has to be the bargain of the year! It has punch, handles well and has a throat! The design is incredible. Now I hope it has some long term quality. The recent JD Powers award has me optimistic.

Dream Car

Handles great, has awsome power, and is the car I was looking for. I have driven the GT-500 and the V6, I love both but the GT-500 is just more bang for your buck. WOW!!!!!

This car is the best I have EVER seen!!!

If you take this car and test it with all of its competitors the Mustang is better than all of them. I have asked a lot of people what they think of the the Mustang and they give it two thumbs up. When I bought my first Mustang in 2007 it handled really good. FORD MUSTANGS RULE!!!!!!

love the retro look

I owned a 1970 Mach 1 back in the day. When I saw the 2007 Mustang GT, knew I had to have one. It reminded me so muuch of my Mach 1. Which I am sure was not a coincidence. Traded in my 2000 Lexus GS300. I now have a black, California Special. I added a Shaker Hood, exausts, tinted windows and a custom grill. I now have to fight my twenty year old son to get drive time. It was worth the switch. If you love the 1970 Mustang buy the 2007 GT.

Best spots car in the World!

I can't say enough good things about the Mustang convertible. It has style speed comfort and it is a fast car. Faster then my Bros. BMW. Even he thinks he should get rid of the BMW and get a MC. Even my girld friend loves the car. She loves the Interior. She also digs the leather seats. Ford did a realy outstanding job

My 2007 Mustang GT is a great car

I just purchased a new 2007 Mustang GT automatic with the premium package and other upgrades. I am very pleased with the car. The handling and braking are far beyond what I would expect in a car costing slightly less than $30,000. The car is very comfortable with excellent bucket seats. Obviously, the back seat is relatively tight but useable; however, I think that whoever purchases a sports-type car should not expect sedan-sized interiors. The ride is quite good but you do feel "breaks" in the road. Don't buy this car if you like to drive Toyota Camry's or similar types of vehicles. But if you enjoy a sporty or sports car with great looks and interior, excellent handling, and tremendous power, this is the car for you. One pleasant surpise was the gas milage: about 19 MPG overall and between 22 and 26 MPG at steady freeway speeds - quite good for this type of vehicle. The car was delivered with zero defects so I expect to reliability to be quite good; however, only time will tell if my prediction is correct. I am also impressed with the dealership; they have treated my wife and I like royalty. I have had five Fords before this vehicle and all but one (a 1960 Falcon) have been very reliable. Other than being a customer, I am not associated with Ford; I just think the Mustang is worth consideration.
