My 2007 Mustang GT is a great car
I just purchased a new 2007 Mustang GT automatic with the premium package and other upgrades. I am very pleased with the car. The handling and braking are far beyond what I would expect in a car costing slightly less than $30,000. The car is very comfortable with excellent bucket seats. Obviously, the back seat is relatively tight but useable; however, I think that whoever purchases a sports-type car should not expect sedan-sized interiors. The ride is quite good but you do feel "breaks" in the road. Don't buy this car if you like to drive Toyota Camry's or similar types of vehicles. But if you enjoy a sporty or sports car with great looks and interior, excellent handling, and tremendous power, this is the car for you. One pleasant surpise was the gas milage: about 19 MPG overall and between 22 and 26 MPG at steady freeway speeds - quite good for this type of vehicle. The car was delivered with zero defects so I expect to reliability to be quite good; however, only time will tell if my prediction is correct. I am also impressed with the dealership; they have treated my wife and I like royalty. I have had five Fords before this vehicle and all but one (a 1960 Falcon) have been very reliable. Other than being a customer, I am not associated with Ford; I just think the Mustang is worth consideration.

2007 Mustang GT 5-speed
All I have to say is "WOW!". The car is amazing. Looks great interior and exterior. The steering is a little on the light side, but it's VERY resonsive and the car feels more stable and safe on the road than any other car I've ever driven. There's barely any body roll unless you're doing some serious high-speed cornering. The GT's leather seats are the most comfortable of any car I've ever been in, too. The Shaker500-500 watt sound system is great too; 500 watts 6 disc changer with a digital equalizer and 8 speakers, STANDARD?! It sounds like it's live! The clutch is a little bit quick to grab and unforgiving, but just takes a little getting used to. The gearshift is a little bit stiff, but it's very easy to find the gear you want and it does get a little easier to shift as it breaks in. The optional 18" wheels are also definitely worth the price, they give the car a ride as smooth as a luxury car. Side-impact airbags are another great option, not too expensive either. The beautiful 281ci V8's exhaust note is great too, and it never leaves no matter what gear/engine speed. Did I mention how great it is to have a 300hp V8 that runs on 87 octane? All of that.... Plus amazing crash test ratings even without the side impact airbags. Forget the GTO and the Corvette, you'll have more fun, be safer, get more heads to turn, and save money with a Mustang.
