Overall Fantastic "Everday" Sports Car
Bought my convertible 2012 V6 Mustang Premium Package from Ford as a CPO used car. The car handles flawlessly and it has plenty of power for a 6 cylinder, it even gets great gas mileage! The 6-speed automatic transmission is smooth and adapts to your driving style. The seats are comfortable and supportive for my 6' tall frame. The convertible top is easy to use and requires next to no effort to operate. The SYNC stereo system takes a bit to learn, but once you do it is VERY useful! My only complaints are minor - the stereo bass isn't as strong as the previous generation (Shaker 500). The rear view mirror has auto-dimming feature, but it isn't fast and doesn't get quite as dark as I'd like; we would have appreciated a flip down feature on it. The blind-spot mirrors are kinda weird, still on the fence on those. All in all this is a fantastic car for both spirited driving and daily commuting. It puts a huge smile on my face every time I start 'er up! Lastly, we flew 400 miles to pick this up, and our dealership [Barber Ford, Ventura, CA] was awesome. We feel fortunate we dealt with them. Mr. Maranzi was great, they even picked us up at the airport!

Love my mustangs
I love my Mustang! This is the third one I own: 2000, 2005, and 2012. My last two have been convertibles, which I really enjoy. The only con to this car is the lack of space and difficulty loading luggage into the trunk, but that's to be expected given it's a sports car and a convertible.

2012 Mustang Convertible
I traded off a 2006 Mustang V6 convertible for a 2012 Mustang V6 covertible. The 2012 has a 45% increase in horsepower and a 20% increase in mileage from the 2006 model. Additional advantages of the 2012 vs the 2006 model include: a better ride, significantly improved electronics and increased features. The 2006 model was a reliable vehicle and it was purchased by my son-in-law. I have no reason to suspect that the 2012 model won't also prove to be quite reliable.

11 mustang
I have owned mustangs over the years,,the style ,perf of the 11 version I enjoy very much,,the new V6 is a very nice balance if power and design,,avoid the 11 stick shift as for some reason they were made in china and ford has been paying warranty claims since,,the recent announcement of a "restyle' in the future seems a mistake assuring these cars as classics

Performed so well in accident bought a second one.
Purchased 2012 Mustang for 16y/o because of the insync and emergency safety features. Of course, love the look of the 2012. The transmission leaked and we had two failed tires in the first six months. I vowed to never buy another FORD. However, my 16 y/o was in an accident, 2 blocks from home, the car was totaled, driver sustained an arm abrasion from the airbag. Car activated the SOS Emergency system. The ambulance and police arrived before I did. The car crumpled, but the passenger box was intact. Everyone from the police to the tow truck were amazed she was not killed. I replaced the totaled car with another 2012 Mustang. No transmission or tire issues with the second one.

Fast it is,sync its not
Your expert reviews did the car justice. However when one gets over the horsepower, braking and cornering ability, and starts exploring the Sync system with Nav, I am left wondering if I made the right decision. The sync system is the worst user interface I've ever touch my hands too. It's unreliable, reboots, freezes, drops Bluetooth connections, and constantly has USB removed errors. Trying to get Ford to fix, and not point fingers to everyone else, has left a very bad feeling about what else lies ahead for the electronics in this car. If you buy one of these cars, don't get sync or nav. And that's the only way I can recommend this car.

Mustang Lover
I am very happy with my new 2012 Mustang Convertible. Thanks to cars.com, I found the dealer that had the exact car and color I wanted. That dealer turned out to be one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had in my 55 years of buying automobiles. Ford is doing a great job these days building a quality American car.

Great car, not for short people.
I do love my mustang, but it wasn't really made for people under 6'. The inside is nice but it's difficult to get in and out with the seat so close to the dash. Other than that it's great. I have the V6 305 hp coupe and it does actually get pretty good mpg. Between 16-29 depending on driving habits and speed. The get up and go is good except with the AC on, then it's lacking. Love the styling of the exterior. I've only had it two months, so I haven't really experienced any mechanical problems.

Great car
For those stuck with choosing Mustang or Camaro it all depends on what you want. I have had both a 2010 Camaro V6 and now the 2012 Mustang V6 MCA. The Camaro is a Great Cruiser and honestly I believe it looks better. But the Mustang by far is more fun, you feel more connected to the steering and the suspension where the Camaro felt very bland. The Camaro is a bigger car and is great for long drives. I still love the Camaro but if you looking for a "driver's car. The Mustang is the better choice.
