One of the niceist trucks that I owned
I like the size and looks. The power seems adequate. I love the interior. The technology is great.. I'm so glad that Ford made a Ranger again. I had Rangers since 1984. I just traded in a 2011 Ranger for this new one.

Love it, but...
I needed a truck, but the f150s are just too large for me. I'm short, 5'3" the small trucks are too small for my wood business. So the new mid-size ranger was perfect. So I had a lariet supercab built. I love it, but there's no hitch. It's a truck. When you order other trucks they come with the hitch. The ranger came with tow bars. When building the truck there was no where that said I had order the tow package to get a hitch. I don't need all the lights just the hitch for farm use. Now the other issue. When the gate is down and I'm in reverse I cannot stop the alarm. The 150s can be disabled. That's more annoying then not having a hitch. Other than those 2 issues, I love the truck. It's the perfect size for me. I wish ford would understand that no matter how you market it, it is still a truck and needs truck stuff like a hitch and the ability to turn off that alarm when in reverse. And the primary use of this vehicle is hauling not towing.

Nice truck, enjoy driving it
Comfortable to drive, I am 6ft. and have plenty of leg room. A grab handle would be helpful on drivers side. Engine power and ten speed transmission is great .

Beats my Tacoma
Where this truck beats my 2017 Tacoma hands down is motor/transmission, quietness, smoothness, technology, ease of entry & exit. Features it lacks compared to 2019 Tacoma are leg airbag, active cruise control (available in Lariat trim), plastic bed. My 2017 Tacoma was totaled and my intention was to replace it with an identical 2019. I saw one of the new Rangers when driving by a dealership and took a test drive a couple of days later out of curiosity. SOLD! Now I can't wait for any excuse to drive the Ranger. The Ecoboost motor and 10 speed transmission are fantastic.

New truck purchase
Looking for a smaller truck that was still big enough for family to ride in comfortably. Ranger fits the bill. Thanks to Judy and Mike F.

A really good midsize truck
The ranger handles great and has a really sleek look. My only negatives are the back seats are a little crowded and my big negative is where the motor shuts down when you are stopped. I don't like that at all. I am glad there is a button to push that bypasses that feature.

Ford Blew It
I’ll start by saying I don’t own one. I was excited about the release of this truck as a long time F-150 owner and looking for an alternative to the under powered Tacoma. And while I know the engine and performance of the ranger is top notch, Ford blew it. Same body styling as Europe (too round) No standard transmission option No Diesel option No 4 door + 6ft/long bed option. Totally blew it.
