Good car.
This car is nice and roomy. I had trouble with repair costs, I think because I bought it at just under 100,000 miles. If you want some space and a good smooth ride, bite the bullet and pay a little extra up front for a newer vehicle and that will hopefully save you repair costs down the road.

I love this car! Made beautifuly
I love my 2005 Ford Taurus. Beautiful fom the inside out! Very good gas milage and a very smooth ride. This car has plenty of leg room and storage space in the trunk. It can carry up to 5 pasingers . I guess that this model has different amenities included for different styles but I particularly love the safety features in my sel model. How much cooler can it get? A moon roof ! Lovely!

The kids will love the third row as they can look at the cars behind you. This is an extremely comfortable vehicle to drive and convenient for the family. The seats fold down making it easy to transport large items.

I LOVE TAURUS
This is my second Taurus. I had a 1989 and now the 2005). Intermediately I had a 1995 Buick Skylark. The car is amazing. It won't breakdown if properly maintained. My driving is low mileage and 99% city driving. I bought the last one used at 128,000 in December, 2014. No operating costs (excepting 2,500 mile oil changes and gasoline) until my alternator gave out five days ago. It was recommend by long time mechanic that I replace spark plugs. I'm at 133,000 miles. I drove my old Taurus for 219,000 miles

A Safe Car You Can Rely On
The mileage is alright, but it's an extremely reliable car. I never had any problems during my 3 years with it. It handled many long trips across the states with ease and has plenty of space for moving home from college. Seats 6, huge trunk, a great car!

I have owned 5 Ford Taurus in the past am glad
My first Taurus was a 1989 Taurus and it lasted till I traded it for the 2005 Taurus SE that we drive now. The 1989 was one of the most dependable cars I've ever had and I have owned several as I am now 71 yrs. old. The 2005 I find as a liitle small on the interior part. I am always bumping my head or my knees but I still have been driving it. It is roomy for my legs but not for my taller torso. For performance the best Taurus I ever had was a 1990 Taurus SHO. It could do things that most 4 dr. sedans would never think of. It corners like a Corvette and has the speed of Well, I better not say, other than more than you'll ever need. The Taurus SEL and the SHO have ALL the computerized toys and gimmicks that we all like and most of those items come standard on those cars. Buy Ford, you'll be glad you did.
