Very comfortable car.

Did everything well. Mine was ex-rental vehicle. No ABS or DVD player. Decided to upgrade in 2013. Main problem was very low trade-in value as a discontinued model.

4.0

Inexpensive with turning radius not all that great

Good for the $$$$. Inexpensive but, durable. Turning radius could be better. Style out of date. Comfy seats. Accelerates quickly. Options adequate. Cruise control not as good as GM vehicles.

3.7

It’s good

This car is perfect for my needs, not super flashy but it gets me from point a to b, would recommend to my friends and family

3.7

Most reliable car I have owned

Car is comfortable and good on gas. The radio system has been upgraded and now includes bluetooth and hands free calling. This car is a great value

5.0

Never had any issues.

Reliable, enjoyed being able to change from a 5 seat to a 6 seat. It's roomy and easy to take care of. Worked great in service and great in driving to transport throughout a day.

This car is very reliable

This car exceeded my expectation. It served my purpose, never stopped me on the road. Just to change oil whenever it is due. I recommend it to anyone.

1.9

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made

This car was the biggest piece of junk had nothing but problems with it had to replace three transmissions and two engines. Would never recommend a Ford Taurus to anyone

3.7

Great first car

I drove this car as my primary car for years. It was the first car I owned. It is a great winter car. I have used the car for college and moved with it four times. Overall this was a fantastic first car, and the insurance was super cheap.

3.6

I love this car

I have had this car since about 2010 and I love it. We have been all over Indiana together, not to mention college and my first job, together. While it may not be much to look at, it is a hardy car that will get you where you need to go. Never had any issues until recently when the AC went out, but fortunately this is a fixable problem that doesn't hinder the function of the car.

3.1

Solid affordable family sedan

The 2006 Ford Taurus is a comfortable vehicle that does the boring stuff well. It gets good gas mileage for its size and it's a very reliable car. The DIY mechanic will find that it's easy to repair so your overall maintenance costs are potentially low.
