can't get repairs

I liked the vehicle when I've been able to drive it, however it's been in the shop over a month awaiting parts for mechanical repair. GMC Customer Service refuses to return my calls or to keep me posted as to what the problem is.

Happy with my 2008 Acadia

I purchased this 08 Acadia about a month ago. So far I am very satisfied with my purchase. I reviewed this model quite a bit before I made the purchase. One expert review talked about the center dashboard features being a little confusing and yes, they are. The buttons for the a/c, defroster, etc. are very small. The ride of this vehicle is very nice and I am enjoying the remote start and remote liftgate. I wish the rear window was a little bigger and opened separately from having to open the entire liftgate. As no vehicle is perfect, I have enjoyed my purchase to date.

Best car I've ever owned

I bought this car in order to get a third row seat. I compared it with other full size SUV's and found that this car had everything I wanted, but got better mileage than an SUV. It has more cargo capacity than my previous SUV, a smoother ride, quieter, better stereo, and tons of great features such as voice activated radio controls. I call this the man version of a minivan: all the features without the stigma.

Very well done

I am a police officer and work a lot of vehicle crashes so I was first drawn to the Acadia for its 5 star crash ratings for front and side impacts. This vehicle is very stylish and and well thought out. I was a little nervous about the V6 but it handles itself very well especially for its size. I am also impressed with the gas mileage, which is around 22 miles per gallon on my front wheel drive model. I have had the Acadia about a month and a half now and love it. It rides great and handles great and has many options standard that u would have to option for on other brands. If u are looking for a family vehicle with lots of room u cant go wrong with the Acadia.

Favorite Vehicle

Excellent gas mileage for an suv, over 23 with the family and cargo on the interstate. No major problems or issues with the vehicle. Everywhere we go people still ask us about it and we've had ours for 9 months now.

Best Car in 50 Years!!

Turned in a 2005 Hummer (H2) for the Acadia! Best decision I've made in 50 years of driving. This car has absolutely everything I looked forward to...sorry GMC didn't have it when I was raising three kids!! I use my car for pleasure and as an office...could not be better designed. Thanks Jessup Auto Plaza, (Eric R.), Cathedral City, Ca. During the Summer I go to Marysvale, Ut. for ATVing...perfect for pulling the trailer.
