Worst car ever in my 30yrs of owning a car

I just leased a brand new 2019 AWD Terrain Denali Fully loaded with all packages. The MSRP was over $45k. I have less than 900 miles on it and have had the vehicle for about 33 days. The quality of the vehicle and drivetrain is horrible. SD Card Reader and the Backup Camera System failed by the time I drove 14 miles from the dealer lot to my home! When I contacted the dealer to fix the issue they kept my vehicle for 3 days only to tell me that the SD Card Reader was replaced but the Backup Camera is on back-order with no estimate for availability. It's been weeks and the camera is still not in for replacement! On top of it, even in All Wheel Drive mode, the vehicle slips and skips on wet pavement. What would happen in heavy rain or in snow storms (which are common here in Michigan)? As if all this wasn't enough, GM has reduced the size of this vehicle quite a bit to a bird-cage, made the seats extremely uncomfortable, no way to seat 5 people comfortably or really carry a shopping cart worth of groceries from Costco in the trunk. I was hoping that I would get used to the interior, but coming from 2015 AWD Terrain Denali fully loaded, even after a month I still can't get used to this small size. And to make matters worse, GM went with a push/pull button shifter. You won't know how bad it is until you have driven in rush-hour traffic for 1-2 hrs. With a manual shifter I could easily push the shifter into 'N', take my foot off the break and give my foot a rest until the car ahead moved and quickly shift bach to 'D' and inch forward and repeat. Not so much with this terrain. More than the design though, due to such horrible quality I will never buy GMC again and suggest others not to buy either.

Has great features and options.

Vehicle has lots of room for a small SUV. Plenty of USB ports for electronics. Love the 3D panoramic cameras while reversing! All heated seats and WiFi was a huge winner with our children.

We just made this purchse

So far I love my new Terrain Denali, I previously owned a Yukon Denali, so I’d say the overall comfort level isn’t quite the same, or quite as nice on the inside, however I love the stitching in the seats, and I really like the new exterior design (Denali trim), much better than the old design! Think I’m really going to love it once I adjust to the differences

Terrain

Loved the car except for the new console buttons for instead of stick shift😏🤔not sure, that's what changed my mind🙃Might recommend to a friend, they would have to see for themselves, if they like the new style.

Comfortable ride

Love most things about this SUV. But too much road noise and has a persistent rattle in the headliner by driver's seat. Been back to the dealership six times for this with no resolution.

One of my favorites

This car was just enough mom and sport to feel good. Drive great and is smooth on the road. I would definitely purchase this car again.

Worst Rental Car

I drive this car for 9 days while on vacation, and it was horrific. The engine feels like it might snap at any time. There is absolutely no way to smoothly drive this car due to how rough the gear shifts are. When you push down on the gas there is a delay, making lane changes and passing cars very difficult. The storage on the doors make it impossible to set any drinks there without spilling. I will give them props on the space and multiple USB ports for everyone in the car to charge their devices. I feel like they were trying to reinvent the wheel here, and they failed miserably. I normally drive a 2016 Honda Accord with 106,000 miles on it, and was so happy to get back to it after vacation. Normally after driving an almost brand new car, that is not the case. Try again GMC.

Beautiful SUV!

My GMC Terrain SLE in Red is a Beautiful and practical car. I t has plenty legroom front and back. The cargo area is also roomy. It gets good mileage especially on the highway. I like that I can use the Screen when hooked up to my phone for maps and directions. I am very pleased with my car.

Love it

I'm beyond happy with my purchase. I have never owned a GMC before. I'm glad I made the decision to purchase one. We will be back to buy another vehicle next year.
