Perfect car for a new driver or for commuting

I have only owned this car for 3 years and I got it at 270k miles. The car originally came from South Dakota so most of the suspension was rusted out. I’m at 300k now and the only issues I’ve had is from the suspension and exhaust. This car starts up with no problem even when the temperature is 15 below. All of the parts I’ve bought are ridiculously cheap and easy to replace. Perfect car for a kid to learn how to work on vehicles.

Reliable car

I have 97 Accord since 2009. Had originally 107K miles now 256K miles. It is great and economical car. Everyday go to work and return 60 miles round trip. Paid only $3600.transmisson bullet proof Stool runs fine. Buy Honda Accord check the review to make sure you are not buying failed Honda for some model and specific year engine and transmission had design issues. I was lucky.

My newest best friend.

I've owned mainly GM made cars my entire adult life. When my 1998 Oldsmobile finally gave up the ghost after 12 years of ownership. I bought my current 1997 Honda Accord in August of 2018 2 months after the Olds kicked the bucket. It's my first Japanese made car that I've owned and it never let me down. I did had to put a few bucks into it over the last year for routine items such as a new exhaust system, starter and front brake work but all in all, I like the car alot. It filled the shoes of my late 1998 Olds nicely.

Great reliable car, pleasant to drive, versatile

Owned this car for over 20 years and 185k miles and enjoyed its incredible reliability, versatility, and pleasant handling and drive. Very well engineered. Used it as the main family car when kids were young and then didn't bother to sell it when we got a third car because it was trouble free and basically was like a free back up car that we used or loaned to others. After the styling started to look too dated, ended up being a great car for kayaks and outdoor activities.

Great long mileage car! Love it!

Great car! Bought it new in 1997 and it's now 2019 and it's still going strong! It's got 207,000 miles on it, but still runs great!. Never had anything to repair on it except the routine maintenance things. Has a few tiny oil leaks, but that's all. I don't think they make Hondas like this one anymore. The new ones seem to give trouble. Go Honda Baby!

Best car ever

I bought this vehicle (station wagon model) used with 36,000 miles on it, and I now have 250,000 miles. I've had to replace numerous wear out items, but the car still drives better than many of the new cars I have test driven (so I haven't bought a new car yet). The car is comfortable, reliable, decent in the snow, has good road feel for a wagon in this price range, and has been the perfect size to carry lots of stuff and people when necessary, but without making it difficult to get into tight parking spaces. I wish Honda still made this car.
