Best car I have ever owned

I have 313, 000+ miles on my Accord and still am running the original clutch, muffler and tailpipe. I bought it with 26,000 miles on it. The only non-routine maintenance item replaced was the right rear wheel bearing. Gas mileage is fabulous with the 5 speed. It still uses almost no oil and has great compression. I am expecting to get at least 500,000 miles before a rebuild.

In the shop all the time

I had the car 4 months when the first transmission. Then we put three additional transmissions in and we now have 130,000 miles on the car and are getting rid of it. The sliding doors always get stuck shut. It has been in for service 6 times for this. I am usually a Honda lover. The Odessy was a lemon.

LOVE IT. WANT ANOUTHER ONE

THIS CAR HAS BEEN GREAT. ITS AMAZING HOW MANY PARTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAR. THIS CAR HAS BEEN REAL EASY TO WORK ON AND ENEXPENSIVE TOO. THE SUSPENSION AND BRAKES ARE INCREDIBLY EASY TO CHANGE OUT FOR AFTERMARKET UPGRADES OR STOCK REPLACEMENTS. I WOULD DEFINENTLY GET ANOUTHER ONE. MY 99 HONDA ACCORD EX V6 SEDAN HAS 124,000 MILES ON IT AND I STILL CANNOT EVEN HEAR IT RUN. THE V6 SUPPLIES PLENTY OF POWER.

I love this car, extremely reliable, hasn't failed

*underestimated horspower for 4 cylinder ULEV *Many options on tuning *Sturdy and very reliable engine *Don't like the fact there is not much torque present within the 4 cylinder *Weak Axles on 4 cylinder version so can't really put big rims *Handling seems a little stiff *Smooth and quiet accelaration *Luxury exterior

Its the best at 137,000 miles and never let me down. Plan on getting 100,000+ more. Drives better then new american cars.

Still going....

I bought my '99 in 2001 off a lease with 30K. Since then I've put 200,000 miles on it and it has never let me down. I live in New England and the front-wheel drive with the manual transmission gets me through anything. My only complaint is that the car is sluggish while passing on the highway.

Most Reliable and Look Last with Time

I'm an aviation design engineer with 25 years of experience. This car is a "refrigerator car" for sure. And I love its detailed designs. Gas mileage is another plus. I will buy another Honda Accord.

The legend lives on.

I bought my 1999 Honda Accord EX 4 in 2002 after my '97 Probe gave out... In the past 4 years i've tacked on 85000mi (150000+). No major repairs, just routine maintence. I have family members in NC so i go once a year... I can make it there on one tank of gas. Very stingy on gas. This is why the Accord is America's best selling car. Reliability, Outstanding gas mileage, and bang for the buck.

Great Car!!!

Great Car!!! It's a Honda, reputation stands for itself. Well maintained both interior and exterior. Drives like a honda and the transmission shifts great. Wonderful color for the hot weather in Florida.
