Great car

I just bought the car two days ago. So far, so good. Other than that, I don't know how to review a car. I'm just doing this in the hope that I'll stop getting Cars.com Honda Civic ads on Facebook, Yahoo and several other websites.

Not an improvement over the 90's and early 2000's

After owning 5 generations of Honda Civics now, this is the worst one I've owned. If you've driven the prior Honda Civics, they were light, zippy and always 30+ mpg. Before you consider this vehicle, consider the following: - I'm a single owner of a 2006 Honda Civic EX. The only addition I've added to this car is the stock mud flaps. It was acquired with less than 1k miles, and currently has a bit over 67,000. - Idle is rough in this car and shakes everything pretty badly. The idle is way too low, hovering around 600 and drops. It's cut out on me twice, although starting back up. Around 30,000 miles ago was the last incident. - Air flow in the car is horrible. If you open the window, even a crack, it's hello snow, hello rain! I've tried every possible combination, from vents on (and open from outside), to various ways of opening each window and moon-roof. If you're a smoker, I can't imagine you have a good time driving this vehicle. The incoming wind blows strait in your face, no. matter. WHAT. - Power. It's not your 90's Honda. It feels heavy, and it is. Even with my 5-speed, getting on the highway is uncomfortable and more distance is needed for both acceleration and, especially stopping. - The road. You're going to feel it, every little pebble of it. The tires will make the most difference for a comfortable ride, and I had to spend $500 to get the comfort I desired with a very good set of tires. - Gas mileage. It's never what they say. I'm getting approximatley 24-27 miles per gallon in this car. The good thing is, that figure hasn't gotten lower. This is a healthy combination of city and highway driving. I know this review may not include the good things, but they don't outweigh the bad. It's slick looking, and the interior looks cool, and it's a safe car. That's about it.

Hot Little Car

This is a very sporty, nice and clean car. It drives like a dream and I love the stick shift. Haven't been able to negotiate the deal I need yet, but I'm going to keep trying.

Very nice car

The car I bought was a 4 door 2006 civic EX. Eventhough the car has 150000 miles it runs nice. I give 4 stars on performance because I use to have Accord and I really miss some more power.

Cash have to be more around $ 3000 + Internet Price... And The Seller is Rule, they talk like they don't want you to buy it. You guys should call them to ask the price before going to see the cars .

2006 Honda Civic EX 5 spd

Having been a honda accord owner most of my life, in 2006 the first year of the new body style, i decided to purchase the Honda Civic EX. I love this car and have never held onto to a car this long. I usually get bored and trade. This is the best car honda has made. Its great on gas, fun to drive, sporty, i get tons of compliments, the list goes on. I have not had any issues with this car. It now has over a 100k on it. Its in beauty shape. I would like to see honda make a convertible honda civic , limited production. thank you honda for many years of joy!

North Texas autoplex

Horrible! I bought a vehicle with a check engine light on from them and they lied and said it was because of aftermarket exhaust.

Best Car.

This is my 3rd Civic and they keep getting better. My car over 100,000 miles and I've had no mechanical problems at all. If it wasn't for the fact that the Civic doesn't come in hatchback anymore I would buy another.

would not buy again

2006 civic had problems with rear control arms. Honda did't notify owners but put out a bulletin to Honda dealers. There was no recall. Wouldn't recomend buying a Honda.
