Great car to own
I have owned 4 Civics in my lifetime, so Honda must be doing something right. Its a great car for the money. I have test drove the Accord and love it too, but the Civic keeps you feeling young with its sporty coupe design. It's a fun car to drive, get's excellent gas mileage, and with the Honda name, you know you are getting a quality vehicle.

Not too bad!
Nice car however Honda seems to skimp on the inexpensive items such as sunvisors. Mine broke apart in less than a year and the parts manager says it is a common problem...so common they stock all colors in their parts department! The replacements are no better according to this parts manager. Looks like the arm rest will be going next. Too bad Honda can't do the little things right.

"High Performance for a small Civic Si Coupe"
I just purchase my new Honda Civic Si coupe in last October 2007. Before I purchase this car, I did a lot of research on it on the consumer report website and other auto expert review website. Also test drive others two door coupe from other competitor such as Scion, Toyota, etc,. Well, when I first test drive this car, I fall in love with its performance and its v-tec and its exhuats tone. Everything is stock from top to buttom. It doesn't have a turbo, but its i-vtec kicks like a turbo. You have to rev up to about 6000-8000 rpm to kick the v-tec. When it kicks, hold on tight to the steering wheel and sit comfotably. Also, look at your speedometer just in case theres a cop ahead of you or get a expensive radar detective, not those cheap kind. Trust me it will payoff your ticket in the long run. Me and other people can say whatever we want, but if you really want to know the truth about its performances, go to a Honda dealer and test drive yourself and you can judge for yourself. Honda makes the best design and quality for its vehicle like report in the consumer report booklet.

Big Disappointment
Very disappointed in this car. Extreme road noise. If you're in the back seat it is so noisy you can hardly talk to the people in the front. Both of the front windows have malfunctioned and had to be replaced. At different times, of course, plus I then had to have each of them tinted again. A lot of time spent in and out of the shops. Original tires were very worn at 15,000 and had to be replaced. Handles poorly on icy roads, and has NO traction on a slippery hill. Can't see the front end of the car from the drivers seat. Makes it very hard when parking or driving into a narrow space.

Best car for your money on the market
I love my Honda Civic Sedan. I looked at many cars before choosing the 2007 Honda that I have. It was a great deal for all the features and great gas millage. The only thing that has really frustrated me recently with my purchase is that the windshield wipers are not actually on the windshield; they are below. This would not be a problem if you live in a warmer climate, but I live in Alaska with freezing temperatures. The defrost melts the ice and snow in the mail windshield area and then it all goes down to where the wipers are. Then the water freezes the wipers down and they are then not able to work. Honestly, that is that only thing wrong. I am so happy with my purchase. I hope and plan to not only keep this car for as long as possible, but later in life, I will trade this one in for a newer one :)

Hard not to like...
Leased for my commute to work, but found that this car is a good weekend car as well for every day tasks. Happy about the comfort, looks, reliability, and handling. Disappointed with the performance, the clutch, and lack of a 6th gear for cruising. My gas mileage has suffered because when driving above 65 mph on my commute, the small 1.8L, 4 cyl engine is working extra hard with the rpms at 3800-4000; which is why a 6th gear is needed. The clutch needs improvement and I know I can't expect much from 140 HP, and 128 ft-lbs of TQ, a few more ponies should be added. Interior dash is eye catching, and the mp3 capability is welcomed. A/C vents need to be moved. Get rid of hubcaps please! Favorite Features: Central control and dash. Style. Comfort. Reliability. MP3 capability with CD and MP3 jack. Room. Above average MPG. Cup holders. Trunk size. Maintenance minder. Digital MPH display. Custom welcome display on radio. Driver height adjustment. Handles very well. Above average in snow. Suggested Improvements: Better clutch. Needs a 6th gear for cruising. Needs disc brakes in rear instead of drums. Move A/C vents. More HP / TQ. Get rid of the hubcaps. Folding mirrors. Power/Memory seats should be an option, along with auto-dimming mirror. Blind spots occasionally over left shoulder (coupe).

Still Love It!!
I bought my 2007 Civic Si Sedan back in Feb of 2007, and I have to say that I still enjoy driving this car! The futuristic design is ahead of it time...and the first thing that everyone notices when they ride in it is the eye-catching gauges. I have never owned a Honda before this car...but I see why they have such a great reputation for PERFORMANCE and RELIABILITY!

most troublesome 8 monthes i have had
i bought my 2007 honda civic ex in march 2007 expecting honda to live up to its good reputation. i would never recommend this car to anyone. 3 major recalls within 6 monthes?? i am sorry but that should not happen with such a reliable name. eventhough i really do like the overall "look" of the car, inside and out, i would never buy a new car just for the look. i buy for the reliablilty. so far i have been totally dissapointed with my 2007 honda civic. I find it to be gut less and if you had to push the car hard to get out of a sticky driving situation, you might want to simply relie on the top safty ratings the car has recieved because i can gaurantee the civic would not be able to get you out of a situation.

Just as I thought it would be.
We rush out and buy honda cars for the same reasons; reliability, fuel economy and a bit of sportyness. I did and I got exactly what I thought I'd get. the car is cheap to run, the first oil change was at 10000k (6000M). I bought a 2 dr coupe and there are a few little quirks I don't really like about it. the seats get uncomfortable after about 3 hrs on a long run, and I don't know why, but it just does not stay clean. I know its black, but even just after a wash, it still traps dirt. the material in the inside is a leather/suade material that always looks dusty and the dash is long and hard to clean. All that aside My coupe handles great, feels very confident at higher speeds and is very predictable in rotten icy conditions. The all seasons are ok, but any amount of winter driving requires snows. especially if your not used to a front wheel drive on a skating rink. I also sat in the back for a short trip. I'm 5-10 and it was not pleasant. It would have been ok If I had size 3 feet though. I really like the gas mileage, the sound system, and the sure footed cornering. I also like the 5 speed auto and the great brakes. If I could buy it again, I would have paid more for the accord coupe.
