the best car that i have ever purchased

im only 18 and i started out with a 1989 toyota corolla, then went to a 2000 hyndai, and i saw the civic on the road so much that i convinced myself that i needed to upgrade one last time to something that is reliable and safe. I purchased a 2007 and i cant believe how much im in love with my car. i never used to like to drive now i get excited when i drive! i love my car!!!

Great Decision!

I purchased this car becuase I do a lot of driving (highway/city about 60/40) 30,000 plus per year. The truck I traded for the Civic was getting about 17 mpg. The sticker on the Civic says 30/40. I have never gotten below 32 mpg...and have on occasion gotten as much as 42 mpg. I live in South Louisiana and we use the AC pretty much year round. The AC will BLOW YOU AWAY! So those who have stated they have AC problems...I can't relate. About the only "gotcha" is the location emergency brake handle. It is in a position that on long trips becomes annoying...but I have come to ignore it for the most part. Other than that, this car exceeds my expectations. I have had the car for 7 months, have had NO PROBLEMS and would highly recommend it!

Great Car!!! LX coupe

This is my first honda and I love it. I test drove several vehicles in this price and class range and found the honda to be a much better choice. Honda has made the interior very user friendly. Its hard to believe how roomy the car is for its size . I'm 6' 4" and I get lots of leg and head room. One concern I had is the A/C, I live in Florida and on hot days(which is almost everyday) the unit starts blowing warm air when you are stopped for several minutes. try driving around town like that(yuck). The exterior of the car is amazing and you do get some attention on the road from other drivers. Again great car.

I love my car

It's fun-to-drive, well-made, inexpensive to own and operate. And the interior is pleasant and comfortable. Thus far, it's the best car I've owned since my first new car--a 77 Toyota Corolla.

Honda # 2

Own a '95 Accord, 200K, and still going strong. Added an '07 Civic in June and love it too - 7K on that already. I'm 6'-2"/250 pounds, and find the Civic to be perfectly comfortable, even on extended road trips. Daily home to work commute is 35 miles, RT and I'm seeing a solid 32 MPG. Ride is excellent, as is handling. I actually look forward to driving it every day.

The Best Car I've Ever Encountered

This is the first civic I have ever owned. I purchased my EX civic brand new on August 1st. I have almost put 2700 miles on it. I have only filled my gas tank SEVEN times. I consistently get 380-390 miles to a tank. Filling the tank up completely has cost me $30 or less every time. Aside from the amazing gas mileage, the comfort makes it even more enjoyable. There is more than enough room in this civic! The sun/moon roof also makes it very comfortable to drive. I live in Arizona, so a cool breeze from up top really helps. As far as performance and handling goes, there is instant reaction from this car. I never go above 3500 rpm, but that's only because the car reacts so quickly that I've never had to! I love owning this car.

Horrible Reliablility - Great styling

This is the third civic I have owned and for the first time I cannot recommend the car. My prior 2 civics were very reliable and I actually drove a 2001 civic over 245,000 miles (my job requires me to drive alot). My last car was a Corolla but I got another civic this time because of the styling. My 2007 civic has had several mechanical problems after only 28,000 miles including a ECU (engine control unit) failure and a distributor that needed replacement. The A/C unit also fails to blow cold air and has been "re-charged" twice already. There are now many rattles and one of the childproof locks on the back door is jammed even though its rarely used. I am sorry to say that honda quality has slipped considerably. Fuel economy is good but, at best, I have experienced 34 mpg on the highway (even though I drive the speed limit). Very dissappointing

I LOVE MY NEW CIVIC COUPE

I had not originally planned on buying a new civic after my 1999 civic was in an accident. I had liked my civic but I had only had it for 9mos so I decided to look at several compact models. But after I got inside a 2007 civic coupe I was sold. It is far better than the others in look, design, safety, handling, gas mileage, and overall value. You get a lot for the price. I have had it for 3mos and I have had no problems. It has lots of space for a 2dr coupe. It drives well in the city. I average 30mpg in the city and it did well at 60-65mph on the highway. That was the first thing I did. I drove it 60miles from the dealer at 60+mph. It costs me less than $32 to fill it up and goes for 375+ miles on a tank. It has a excellent stereo system. The LX is the best in terms of what you get for the money but the EX is still cheap. The LX comes with almost everything standard. Some cons: some blindspots but you get use to them, my new civic doesnt get as much mpg as my old one did, and no black interior option for LX. The gray is okay but I would have preferred black. Overall, It is way better than the focus, fit, yaris and aveo in my opinion. I am glad with my purchase.

76 Year old loves his LX Civic Coupe

This is my 7th Honda/Acura product. I've had mostly Accord and Acura Coupes. I heard the Accord was getting bigger. I like smaller cars. My Civic LX is superior in almost every way. I'm 6'4" and 260 pounds....very roomy for my head and legs. My only complaint, and it's fairly significant, is that it is harsh and rather uncontrolled going over rough spots on roads at slow speeds. Also, with sun glasses on, I can't read the speedometer. That said I am extremely happy with this car and the 40mpg it gets.
