I was able to get this I thought at a good price, I like the MPG but I hate the lack of power i know guys want power I dont need all the HP but this has none, its kind of noisy has poor AC in the summer. it dont like gas stations (thankfully) however it loves the dealer and im tired of having it fixed all the time and I heard Honda had great card this is in the shop all the time, last trip Honda dealer did not have a loaner rental company gave me 08 Checy Malibu, now im trading this klunker in the Malibu is so cool and more power more money maybe less repairs

excellent mpg!!!!!!!!
Nice, reliable, excellent mpg!! I have owned 4 Civics in my lifetime, so Honda must be doing something right. Its a great car for the money. I have test drove the Accord and love it too, but the Civic keeps you feeling young with its sporty coupe design. It's a fun car to drive, get's excellent gas mileage, and with the Honda name, you know you are getting a quality vehicle.

I love it!
bottom Line this car is safe!!!!! I have never had any problems, and its a pretty smooth ride. but it has tons and tons of safety features who cares if the design is a little over the top, or it might be a little too compact. It saved my life the other night. I was in a terrible accident and it kept me safe. I will be buying another one when I recieve my money.

Solid all around car!
When I was looking for the best all around car I made sure to do my homework and this car gets an A in my book. I love the new generation look and how it gives the new Civics a more modern appeal. It has lots of visibility inside to look all around you. The interior is nice. It has lots of compartments. Being that I am a fairly tall guy,I was looking for leg room and the Civic sedan has a lot more room compared to other vehcles in its class. I love the digital dash and so do my passengers. I have a manual and the performance is good. The car has a little pep in its step should you need to get up and go. The ride is fairly smooth, but that also depends on what tires you put on it. The car handles ok in the snow. The car is not exactly quiet on the inside especially when traveling at high speeds. One special feature I love about the car is when you are driving with the radio on the volume raises,or rather is heard the same, as you increase in speed to drown out the road noise. I usually get about on average 30mpg. Thats a mix of city and highway driving. Overall its great on gas. I made an 800 mile trip once and only had to fill up twice...and I still had some left over in the tank at my final destination. The seats do get a bit uncomfortable especially when you are driving for longer than half an hour. The maintence is simple and I feel as if the more I drive the car the better it gets.

Great Gas Saver with Style!
The car has wonderful handling and design. The New Civic really went all out to have a real sporty look and feel. The speedometer has a funky style to it that some like and some hate. The car handles well around corners and gets up to speed when you need it to. However, if he car is weighed down by say, four adults riding along, it does have some troubles on the high speed hills. The gas mileage is wonderful. If you can keep your lead foot from coming into play, you can get 40 miles to the gallon easily on the highway. There is a bit of an issue in the back seat if you're riding in the coupe version. You have to either be short or a child to fit. You can find yourself hitting your head on the bumpy rides. This car in general (especially with a moon roof) is not for the tall or long waisted. The ride is smooth, the steering is great, and the car is really fun. I'm really happy with it!

Not So Good
The car is great on gas mileage, and it's very reliable, but it lacks in almost all other categories. The brake is VERY sensitive. Tapping it is like hitting a brick wall. The rear window is extremely hard to see out of because of it's size. There's very little room in the back seat. The V-4 engine revs up every time you tap on the gas. The road noise is unbelievably loud, making conversations almost non-existent. The a/c takes FOREVER to get to the lowest temperature. Not a lot of good things to say about this car.

Good Commuter
I have the EX Coupe with automatic. This is my 4th Honda and best of the bunch. For an economy car it has a lot of sport and comfort that you wouldn't expect. I always get at least 40 mpg but I'm a fairly sane driver. I upgraded the air filter to a K&N which improved mileage by a couple. I have no complaints about this car. If you drive reasonably you will get decent mileage with this car. I wanted something fun to help me cope with the commute and it is perfect. I also looked at Miata, tC, Solara, Eclipse and the Z. Obviously, I could have spent more but none gave the good balance of the attributes I wanted as did the Civic. Get the sedan if you have a family.

Great car!
Bought my LX sedan /w auto back in Oct of 06,and have put over 45000 miles on it. Not one day of trouble. No uneven wear on tires, AC is cold even at idle, mpg low 32 high 39, auto shifts perfect. I put a lot of extras on this car ,so it doesn't look like any other on the road.Love this car, would buy another one no question.
