New Honda Fit
We just purchased a new 2010 Honda Fit (actually a couple of months ago). It's a really great car!! I looked at comparable cars with Toyota, Scion, Nissan, Mazda, and Kia.. we wanted a roomy economy car. The Fit had the best feel, great safety features and ratings, decent power, and so much space inside (and I'm a big guy) for the price... it's not a race car, but it has enough power, but the fit, finish, safety, and space are great.. and I personally like the styling.. feels very european. the other cars were either too cheapy feeling, to boxy, or too small inside. The Fit brings it all together at a great price.. We got the 2010 sport for 16K even + $1500 extra for an 8 year warranty!! I don't have to worry about a single thing for 8 years!! Our gas mileage so far has been around 27 or 28 mpg average.. all types of driving I would recommend this car to everyone!

Another great Honda
My favorite car was the '90 Civic SI hatchback. Lately I've been driving Honda a coupe and missing the hatchback, but the new Civic SI does not appeal to me, and is overpriced. Thinking the Fit would probably be underpowered and too small, I didn't try it until 2010. Yes! This is what was great about the old hatchbacks, and with even more elbow room, cargo space, and utility. Not as zippy as the SI, but has enough power, so it's not an issue. Doesn't have some of the feature I didn't care about and don't miss (e.g. moonroof, tach), so the price is modest. I love it.

I love my Fit!
My 2010 Honda Fit is my first car so I can get back and forth to college. Living in Florida, you need a car that gets good mileage and this car is wonderful when it comes to the gas. I loved this car from the first time I laid eyes on it and its performance has been excellent since then. Due to the horrible drivers in Florida, my Fit has been 110% reliable in protecting me from accidents and people that tailgate/cut you off here. Not only is the performance, reliability, and safety is great, but it has been a fun car to drive. Every aspect of this car is a pro. I have driven many great makes including Mercedes Benz, Subaru, and Toyota for example and Honda is one of the best. The only con that the Fit has is my low bumper that always tends to scrape the ground when coming out or going into a steep driveway. Otherwise, I have 0 complaints about my cute car. The interior is great, big enough for 5 people.

new Honda Fit Sport first three months
Bought new Honda Fit 2011 three months / 3k miles ago. Happy about it. The only thing i didn't like is position of head rest, which i wasn't able to adjust, so i just took it off (i don't know if this thing is necessarily specific to Honda Fit though, my previous car didn't have head rest at all ...)

not as great as others, better than some.
The window drives me crazy, and I miss a center console and sun roof, but overall, it's O.K., and rather enjoyable to drive.

IMPRESSED!
I put 39,000 miles on this car in the first 12 months. I had zero maintenance problems. I drove this car to the Florida, TX, New Orleans, California, all originating from Missouri. Now I'm at around 45,000 miles, the Fit runs like new. This is my 6th car. I originally wanted the Accord but I didn't like the Lincoln Town Car feel. I drove a Civic next and I didn't like how low the ceiling is and the small feel. I didn't want to but I said why not, and I test drove the Fit and I was surprised, it was close to perfect as a car can be without spending almost $40,000. On the highway I can get 40 mpg or up to 41 mpg if I'm cruising 65mph. At 70 mph I get 38 or 39 mpg. In town it really depends on how hard you accelerate. In warm weather 36 and 37 mpg is not uncommon. In cold weather I get around 33 or 34 mpg in town. I'm a body builder, I'm a big boy, but the Fit is comfortable. It fits 5 adults comfortably too. All of my friends were surprised when we packed in and fit comfortably and went to the club. I love how the back seats fold flat I can stick my mountain bike back there easily (with the front wheel off). Pros: Gas mileage. Comfort. Controls are natural and user friendly. Blue dash lights are pretty neat. IPOD and USB connectors. CD player has good features. Speakers are quality sound. Roomy, I can carry a lot of cargo with the seats folded down, I can even take a nap back there if I lye diagnole. Honda Reliability. top notch fit and finish. Paddle shifters are fun or can be conservative on gas when you want. Con: My chief complaint is you can hear road noise at highway speed. I was upset Honda didn't include floor mats! That's insulting. I paid $87 for the rubber Honda ones and they're okay. Not as cool a muscle car. Best thing is it was only $20 or $21 to fill up the Fit's gas tank. Now that gas is around $3 a gallon it cost me $26. But, the gas will last a long time in the Fit.

I'll take 2!
This car is great for city driving and packing up for a weekend getaway. I've had four of us and all of our camping gear for a weekend beach trip packed in nicely. Granted we had no room to spare, but comfy nonetheless. Mileage is FANTASTIC! I've always averaged over 37mpg in the long run with city and highway, but I've reached over 43 on some trips. Something else that really impressed me was how it stood up in a high impact accident. I was rammed by a construction vehicle while waiting for someone ahead to make a turn. Three other cars domino'ed together in front of me as well with my car taking the blunt force of the impact. The back end totally smashed, the front end smashed, but the entire inside cab (save for behind the back seat) was practically intact. The design of the vehicle had stood up to the test of what could have been a very fatal car accident. I'm writing this a week after that had happened. I'm going out tomorrow to buy another one, dependent on the mailing of the insurance check of course.

my Honda Fit
Test drove the Fit and felt as if I had been driving it all my life, so I bought it, a big splurge compared to other small models. Starts great, easy to turn and park, getting about 30 miles to the gallon in the city. One sibgle but big complaint, can not see the front of the hood my front vision ends at the windshield wiper. Makes it challenging to get into my condo parking spot. Thinking about getting a Lincoln or Cadillac marker put on. love my Honda Fit. Judith in Denver

Fabulous Fit!
I've had the fit for over 3 months now, and I absolutely love it. It was everything I was looking for - fantastic gas mileage (typically over 40 MPG on the highway and low 30's around town), peppy enough given it's compact motor, great visibility when driving/changing lanes, surprisingly spacious interior, great features. I only got the base model, but have been completely happy with the included features. The only complaint I have is that while I appreciate having a higher ceiling to the car, making it feel larger inside, at times the angles for the sun visor are not enough to keep the sun out of my eyes. An improvement would be somehow lowering the visor or being able to extend it out a bit more. Not a deal breaker, a fabulous car and ride.
