New to me, so reliability cannot be rated yet.

Coming from a very small compact car, I feared it may take some time to become acclimated to a larger vehicle. The HRV has been very easy to get comfortable with. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great vehicle...Honda hit a home run

Drives like a car, performs like a SUB. Dampens suspension is great. CRV transmission is smooth. Adaptive braking and SED frosting on the cake. Price better than CR-V

Honda HR-V

I haven't owned this vehicle long enough to have an opinion on the reliability of it. However, I did do a lot of research and the HR-V rated high on the list for reliability. It is comfortable with a nice ride and plenty of interior room. I wish it had come with a privacy cover over the rear portion, but I was able to find one online for around $75.

Seamed to be too light and too weak

It was pretty, but lacked the "queen bee" feeling of my Pilot. Better gas mileage but not as comfortable as larger model. Could not step down from my Pilot to the HRV. It was brand new, and nice.... would rather pay more for gas to get better comfort and feel more secure with my drive. It seemed "tinny" not tiny. Upgraded with navigation system is not worth down grading.

Honda can do better

This may end a 20 year relationship with Honda. The car doesn't hold the road like my civics. It doesn't take turns well. The paint is faulty or poor quality, it has places on the hood chipped down to the bare metal and anything touching the side will remove the paint, bad form! I will not keep when the lease is up, but it will need a paint job before I turn it in, ugh.

Disappointed compared to other new Hondas

Woefully under powered. Honda should have put the Element engine in it. If you have never owned a new Honda, you probably will like this baby SUV. If you have owned other new Honda's you will feel like this car was cheapened. I have owned this HRV for two years and it is 100% trouble free so reliability will be good. The electronics ( EX model) are a pain in the Ars to use but they work. The worst downside I see is the chemical emissions from the interior gets on the windshield and you can not clean them off. at all and I have tried everything

Terriffic Vehicle

I LOVE my HR-V! It rides smooth and has great zippy pick-up on the highway. I can pass cars with ease and there is no drag at all. This car flies. It has the pick up of a V6. Going over bumpy city streets, it feels more like a full size SUV rather than a subcompact size vehicle.

Terriffic Vehicle

If I could add anything to this vehicle it would be better sound proofing, lumbar, headroom, different type of cloth material on the seats and radio knobs. Other than these, which are not that "bad," it is a perfect car. The pick-up on the highway is amazing. It rides smooth over the many city bumps. The height of the seats and car is perfect. I love my car and would purchase it again.

Crossovers are a great car direction!

I'm excited about the new crossover body type coming out in a variety of makes. The Honda HRV is a great example. It has the feel of a sedan -- easy to maneuver and park, decent gas milage. But it offers some of the advantages of an SUV -- extra space, higher ground clearance. I'm looking forward to seeing how this car advances.
