Disappointed in this Honda
I only owned this HRV for 19 months. I hated it more and more everyday. I have taken it off road, long road trips and daily commute. Pros: roomy cabin in its class, good ground clearance, and easy to load rear gate. Cons: bumpy ride, seat not too comfortable compared to other Honda and Acura cars I have owned, small gas tank but not as gas efficient, slow acceleration, unstable ride, bad infortainmeny without volume knob and positive action control. So I was going to wait 36 months till factory warranty runs out but I could no longer stand the car with its subpar MPG avg at 26-27 combined and poor acceleration. The road is chopping and feels like you are riding a jet ski on waves. If you want a comfy ride, get a Pilot or CRV. The car supposes to be a CUV but choppy ride wasn't the only thing, it doesn't handle corners well, but has good turning radius. I hate the infotainment, confusing and hard to use. The Bluetooth linked to the phone likes to dial whoever I don't want to call, and seems like it has a mind of its own. If you can have overlook all these things, get the HRV by all means

Honda HRV
A great cross between sedan and SUV. The amount of standard options is wonderful in addition to the great gas mileage and stylish design.

Love this car!
I previously owned a Honda Fit. I wanted something a little bigger, but did not need a vehicle the size of the CR-V. The HR-V suits my needs perfectly! It handles great, even in the snow. The front and rear seats are quite comfortable, and I have plenty of room to haul larger items with the seats folded down. The exterior styling is very sleek, and I have received many compliments on its appearance. I would highly recommend the HR-V!

Has not caused a problem but....
The vehicle makes a popping noise and is most noticeable at the first start. There is also a metallic screech that comes and goes as well. Was told by the Honda dealer that it is a characteristic of the HRV however I started several and drove two, driving one for three days, and neither produced these noises. If this is a real problem, I hope Honda will step to the plate and provide the quality they promote. I leased two and purchased one prior to this and this could very well be my last.

I love this vehicle!
I really enjoyed owning and driving my last two Honda Accords but the HR-V is even better. The gas mileage is about the same. It is very comfortable to drive and I didn't want a big SUV. The HR-V is a perfect size.

Back doors chipped from stones off road
I bought a 2016 Honda Hrv I purchased the mudflaps to help pertect the side of the car. This winter both of my back doors have chipped from the stones coming off the front tires. The back doors have chipped down to bare metal. I have contacted dealerships and Honda directly no one will help me. I am being told this is not a defect of the car it is physical damage and they do not cover physical damage. I am very disappointed with this issue.

Absolutely love my HRV
Can't say enough great things about it! Have the EXL with nav stereo that sounds awesome but added a sub for a little more bottom end and is now perfect! Just love the size and style of it and got mine in my favorite color red....

Great mileage and safe!
If I could opt to change anything...it would be these things: the touch screen...add knobs. I spend a lot of time fiddling with the touch screen and it's not always responsive. Next, the storage compartment on the console...it's cute but inconvenient. Next CUPHOLDERS...they are a terrible design and finally, add a sunglasses holder. Now the good....it's affordable, reliable, gets great gas mileage and rides pretty comfortably. It's all that I need for me, my dogs and my kid.
