Best SUV on the Market

I've drover many different makes and models. The all new Honda Pilot dominates. The luxurious ride and technology is that of a 100k vehicle. For 40k-50k, you can't beat this Vehicle. Honda is the only way to go when searching for a vehicle.

Great family car

Spacious for long hauls with the kids and loading up the SUP and kayak. Great mpg and smooth ride. Side view camera is amazing when merging on roads and highways.

Nice family car

Interior room is excellent for a family of five. Transmission is a little sluggish and tend to slow down abruptly on da AWD EXL model. Its like a small minivan. Gas mileage is great and if you use the economy feature for road trips, even better! My biggest problem is a rattling on both windows when they are partially opened, its very annoying, no dealer has been able to resolve this problem. So far I only had a transmission switch problem, which warranty covered.

Don't Do It

I can't seem to get anywhere with customer care so I am going to share my story in hopes of saving others from my misfortune with the newly designed Honda Pilot. I bought a 2016 Honda Pilot last February. Last week, my air conditioning began to blow warm air. I took it to a Honda dealership for a diagnostic assessment assuming that whatever was wrong would surely be covered under warranty with a car that is barely a year old. I get a call stating that they aren't really sure and it may have been that a rock hit my condenser and that is not covered. The dealership stated that they see this all the time and it is in "a vulnerable place at the front of the car." I have hit absolutely nothing and have never even heard of such a possibility happening on any other car I have owned. The fix is $1200 on a basically BRAND NEW CAR. Please be aware of this design flaw in the new Pilot and purchase something else. This is the first and last Honda I will ever own as I have been let down and feel as if I have been swindled by the company. The Economy employee said that the condenser does have a screen which meant the pebble must have been tiny. So, apparently the tiniest of pebbles can take out an entire air conditioner in a Honda.

Best option compared to BMW or BENZ

Almost 2 years and overall I like the 2016 Pilot. I have the Elite which has second row captian chairs that are heated. It has most of the bells and whistles. For 50k I would have expected the rear view windows to fold in electronically. The rear screen for the DVD could have been bigger. The 3rd row is comfortable for people who are under 6'4" but for rides no longer than an hour. Luxury vehicle with Honda reliability under 50k. What more can you ask for?

Great Car! Great Gas Millage and Comfortable!

We bought this car new in September of 2015! Great redesign, compared to the older boxier Pilots. Clean and Fresh on the inside. Awesome radio system with touch screen. Looks a lot more sleek. We have the EX-L with Navi. Great trim!

Returning Honda Pilot Purchaser

We are still adjusting to all of the features in the new 2016 Pilot with sensing. This car replaced our family's 2004 Pilot the we dearly loved. It remains nice and roomy and accommodates lots of activities and needs. It feels larger in size with regard to parking and maneuvering but the camera feature is helpful in this regard. We are disappointed however that there is no improvement in road noise.
