2020 Honda Pilot consumer reviews

Bought a 2020 Pilot Elite 1/13/20. Ten days later there was a crackling sound in the windshield. We have also had the speedometer screen and GPS turn black, radio cuts out. We have had it in 4 times and they cannot seem to fix it. Considering using the lemon law.

Just bought it and noticed crackling noise... decided to look it up and it’s a known issue. Shame on you Honda! I would not have purchased this vehicle had I been aware of these issues.

The car would be good if not for the electronic problems... the infotainment system almost never worked and also the gauges don’t work. Piping noise from the speakers.

Right vehicle for a big family of seven, good big engine, higher than highlander, foot brake unlike hihlander that has automatic e brake..I was upset the first month 4 times back and forth for service for popping sound (fixed) ..

Very comfortable to drive. Our main problem is the transmission shifts roughly sometimes. Makes a loud bang sometimes when shifting. Other times it lurches forward when shifting. Dealership can’t replicate problem of course. Seriously debating trading in for a Toyota. Too bad, nice vehicle.

This car meets all of our needs. We love the captains chairs in the back. We will enjoy transporting our grandkids. This will meet our needs.

Best SUV!!! As a mom, love the space it provides, the leather is fantastic (easier to clean!) and I love being able to open the trunk handless whenever I have my hands full with groceries/kids/etc.

I love this vehicle! The Pilot gives me the room I need without being overly huge. It’s easy to park, and the technology is current but simple to use (had been a problem on others I looked at). The Touring pkg is nice looking, has everything I need except the ability to adjust the tailgate opening height in the garage. After driving 2 Odysseys for the last 17 years this felt like home but was not a minivan.

There is a static popping coming from the front dash-side speakers. For the first two weeks, I thought I was getting pebbles bouncing off windshield / or windshield did not fit properly. Then one day I realized it was a static pop as if the vehicle is ungrounded...Then driving one day the whole screen went black and the battery died a few hours later. Purchased on Presidents Day weekend - 2020, and then soon after quarantine shut-down made me have to wait until May to have it serviced. I understand the screen blacking out is a problem Honda has, and they have not repaired it yet...I am just learning from this site the static pop is an on-going issue. I wish I had known this earlier I would NOT have purchased this vehicle.

This a good car within this group and price range. It lacks a few minor things in mid-level trim model, but overall meets the needs. The acceleration from stop is a little jumpy. The driver assist/lane detection is too sensitive by far; I sometimes turn it off. Seats could be more cushioned.
