2010 HYUNDAI ACCENT GLS

I've owned this 2010 accent GLS since it was new Drives great when the coil wires are working properly but I havde to change all coils every 40,000 miles along with the spark plugs and I now have 140,000 miles on the accent and have to get it repaired

Engine Coil Issues

I owned a 2010 Hyundai Accent from August 2010 until December 2019. The car was OK, but has several issues. The first is the engine coils. I had to replace all four coils twice, and this was before 78,000 miles. There is no reason for engine coils to fail that often. The car is also very light and floats on ice and water. It was this feature that caused me to have the car totaled while going down a ramp in a rain storm.

Very efficient on gas

My new car is much better on gas and great getting me to and from work. This was a replacement vehicle. My last car was way too big and I couldn't keep up with the maintenance or gas.

Reliable car. Good gas mileage. Simplistic. Functional. Does what you need it to do. It's not fancy but its a great value for the price.

Good car especially with warranty

I?ve had a few minor problems but overall it?s been reliable. After 7 years it?s had a lot of cosmetic issues like visor falling off, muffler rattling, auto locks making loud noise, etc...

SELL YOUR GEO METRO AND BUY A HYUNDAI ACCENT!!!

What a great car for zipping around town and driving on the freeway, too! The 4 cylinder automatic has lots of pickup and it is really comfortable to ride in. Good A/C, heat and stereo...what more do you need! The 14" tires ride smoothly and only cost $69 each when you have to replace them. Buy the General AT23 tires and away you go!

Reliable and economical

Decent little car with good gas mileage. Seats 4 comfortably. Drivetrain is solid and keeps going with basic maintenance attention. This is my second Accent in the last 10 years. Good car for commuting or around town.
