Comfortable, Quiet and Reliable

High quality throughout. * No elec exterior mirrors with Limited Pkg for some reason. * No auto door locks which is pecuilar for car of this class. * Gas mileage good only when driven near 60 to 70MPH. Otherwise mileage not so good around town. More comfortable than I expected for short or long trips.

I've enjoyed every moment of driving.

First of all, I have owned this car for 6 months and have put almost 10000 kms. on it. The total driving experience with this car is "5"star. The worse thing I can say about it is it wants to get out and go. And I mean go. I find on the hi-way I have to always set cruise. I have had this car well over the speed limit and not once felt as I was not in control. I was going to put on snow tires but found the factory installed tires are very adequate for most winter situations as the car is equiped with traction control. I am impressed.

A wonderful car!

I was concerned that I would be dissapointed after trading my 2003 Nissan Maxima in for the Azera, but having now driven and assessed the Azera for a couple of weeks I am more than impressed with the Azera's quality and performance. The car handles well, accelerates smoothly and is as comfortable as my living room !

Loved this car since I first read about it

I first heard of the Azera in September 05. I have owned Lincoln Continental's which were one of the best vehicles I have ever owned , but it was over seven years old and I was ready for a new one. They don't make them any more. I kept watching for the Azera to arrive at the showrooms. They were supposed to be out in the fall of 05. I was getting desperate and couldn't wait so I went out and bought a new 2006 Acura TL in November. I really liked it but, I found that it didn't have the room that I was accustomed to, and I had problems with being able to view everything around me. Too many blind spots, maybe it was just me, because I didn't like it. I started to think that maybe I would check out the Azera again. I decided that if I was going to get one I wanted the best available which was the Azera, witht the Ultimate Package. Well to make a long story short I found a dealer on the internet and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. This was in May 06 and I have never been so pleased with my decision. I love everything about the Azera, quiet, powerful, interior quality and the room that I needed. The added features of 8 airbags, rain-sensing wipers, dual climate control, auto-adjusting drivers seat, power passenger seat, electronic stability control, full-size spare with alloy wheel, and more. The only thing I miss that I had in the TL was the hands free phone and the satellite radio, but I can live without them. As I said I just love this vehicle.

Great car for the money!

I never thought I would ever buy a Hyundai! But then I saw the Azera while car shopping and I really fell for the looks. The price couldn't be beat so I took a chance and bought one, a Limited trim package, after several test drives. Wow, best car buying decision I have ever made! Fast, solid, roomy, looks great... and holds up well in an accident! Yep, with only 8200 miles I was rear-ended while stopped at a stop light, smashing me into the SUV ahead of me. I was on vacation in the Dallas area, ready to head back to Phoenix the next day by way of Oklahoma City (visiting relatives). Front end was smashed up, radiators (both AC and engine cooling) bent back, but not coolant leak and the hood latch was able to keep the hood down so I took a chance and headed home the next day. She wasn't pretty, got lots of stares over the next 1300 miles, but that little car ran like a champ and made it back to Phoenix with no problem at all (through very strong headwinds in Holbrook that I swore would rip the hood right off but that hood latch assembly held 'er tight all the way). The body shop mechanic showed me the car after the hood and front end and rear bumper were removed and he was amazed at how well the 'energy management' engineering worked (because the SUV had a high bumper the air bags didn't deploy) to keep the car together and running. That car is put together to stay together and protect the occupants! I will most certainly buy another when this one is ready to trade in. The only things about the car I see as an issue are the front suspension is rough and loud on bumpy roads (sounds and feels like 60K miles instead of new), more road noise than I like, and the acceleration pauses when you first touch the gas pedal, making you press down a bit more and then off you go maybe a bit faster than you planned. But overall it is a great car and I am sure the engineers will solve those three problems in the years ahead and I will definitely get one of them! Fast car, I had it up to 110 once without even realizing how fast I was going (I am 52 and not really a lead-foot). But mostly I can tell you that that car can take a beating and still get you where you have to go. Great car for the money!

here comes Hyundai- move over Toyota

after 17 loyal years to Volvo, i went looking for a reliable large sedan. Lexus ES330, Toyota Avalon, etc. after reading boards on Toyota problems and rave reviews on Azera, I had to test drive it. couldn't believe the quality and the features at $4K less than Toyota, $5-6 K less than Lexus (who wants a big "L" On my grill anyway?). love the rain sensing wipers, folding side mirrors, EZ-out programming, 8 air& side curtain air bags, large trunk with split folding rear seats, 265 HP - this car really wants to fly, heated seats, of 8 airbags, electronic stability control, full-size spare with alloy wheel, and more! love this car!

Thebest for the money.

After driving an Acura 3.2 TL for the past 3 years, I was hesitant to switch carmakers. This changed when I test drove the Azera. It offered more power, more room, better styling a longer warranty and fantastic handling for much less money. I have been driving the car for 6 months and I would recommend it highly to any new car buyer.
