Pleasure to Own and drive

Very good car! Great control and looks awesome! Panoramic sunroof on the Limited trim is just fabulous! Kids love it. Very reliable overall. The driving is very responsive and spacious enough for a family of 4. Took many roadtrips - never a problem.

Nothing but standard maintenance thru 117k.

We paid $3k-$4k less than Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4. The pricing difference seemed to be exclusively related to reputation. Toyota/Honda had great reputations at that point, but we had already owned a Hyundai (2009 Elantra) and loved it. The 2011 Tuscan proved equally reliable and fantastic value.

Having electrical and Ac Isses all at once!

All at once In the heat of summer in Texas my ac just stopped blowing cold. Has plenty of Freon. All hoses in tact. Traction light and incline light come on intermittently and jam my stick shift so it won?t go in Park! We lost everything in Harvey was told this was a reliable car. It?s been horrible!

Love this little SUV

I sold 2 Toyota Yaris in favor of buying this little SUV. I do not regret my decision. I bought this car (GLS AWD) with 49K miles on it in late Novemenber-2017. Before purchasing it we had it inspected by a mechanic. No mechanical issues were reported then. After 6 months of use and almost 10K miles driven, we have only given it regular maintenance. We drove to LA from San Francisco (4 adults and my 1 year old daughter in a car seat) with luggage and baby stuff stored in the trunk and in our roof rack (bought separately in Amazon). I can say it was one of the best road trips ever so far. None one complained and it did well despite how loaded it was. Pros: +It has good power (not a V6, but it is good enough) +Love the style/looks +Interior is great. Does not compare to an Acura or BMW but you are not paying for that kind of luxury either. +Really good sound system with built in Bluetooth, controls, etc. +Did great in snow when we visited Lake Tahoe using Ecopia tires. +Awesome handling and braking. I am particularly impressed here Cons +24 MPG combined (not bad for the segment, but coming from a Yaris, you can see how that this is seen as a Con). +Ride quality. You will feel every imperfection on the road. I am not sure if this is caused by the Ecopia tires that it came with or if this is just a problem with the vehicle.

looks like a brand new car.

the car is 6 yrs old but still looks like a brand new car, great gas mileage, comfortable, plenty of leg room and a very spacious cargo area.

most reliable car I have ever had!

I have driven every kind of car and the Hyundai Tucson is a real winner. Not the smoothest drive in the world but seriously reliable. Has great cargo space. Never versions has a back seat vent with is an improvement. Would recommend. I think it is a great value.
