2013 Hyundai Veloster consumer reviews

After purchasing brand new from dealership, I have had nothing but issues with the vehicle. Around 56,000 miles the car threw a rod while I was driving to work. I had it towed to the dealership and was told I couldn’t get a loaner car until the repairs were approved. After about 2 weeks, I was finally approved to get a rental vehicle. I was told the service department was backed up because there were a lot of people with engine problems (all different models) and that it would take months to repair. I got my vehicle back about 2 1/2 months later. After I got the car back it was making a weird “sucking” noise from the engine. I took it back to the dealership again and they said that the turbo condenser hose was cracked and would need to be replaced. It was not covered under warranty so it would have been $500+. About a few months later, the car started losing power (how fun is that while driving on the highway?) once more I had it towed to the dealership and 2 months later once they were able to look at it they said that one of the exhaust valves was not functioning properly and the car would need another engine. They said it would not be covered under warranty and it would cost more than what the vehicle is worth. I’m surprised there are so many good reviews on this car on this website. Do your research like I should have because they are looking for me to still pay on the vehicle and I’ve been fighting with them for months now.

This car has all of my needs. Very spacious for being a compact car. I like that there is a touch screen radio, Bluetooth, and USB ports.

transmission slips when car gets warm dealers say thats normal for the car which i say is wrong ,brakes are rally spongy, when any window is open the sunroof cover vibrates so bad it sounds like the bearings are bad so i NEVER put the window down,an the ride is ok till u hit the smallest hole or rough road needs to have better shocks

Veloster ReMix gets over 40mpg on the highway, runs on regular gas, and uses less expensive 17" tires. Lots of cargo space, and great handling (with rear anti-sway bar added). Sporty, yet practical!!

Great car, bought for granddaughter for first car and she loves it . She really loves the way it handles and the sporty look, she also loves the color vitamin c pearl

Not the first car I've driven but its the first I've owned. It is very comfortable and its drives very smooth and was kept up very well. It is better then cars I've driven in the past and am very happy with it.

I have always loved the exterior trim of the veloster. It comes with a wide body kit that makes it fat. Excellent car for my money.

I have never grown very attached to a vehicle until I owned this one. I would honestly like to keep this car for the rest of my life, it is so fun, good looking and unique! This car turns heads and I love it! At least once per week I am approached in a parking lot with questions about my car, people love the look of the Veloster.

Great car to drive . Nice and smooth. Love how it?s a different kind of car and how it?s a nice size. I will recommend this car to everybody I know
