I should have bought a different make and model.

The car looks awesome. However, I have had to replace the clutch, rear hatch actuator, the passenger front speaker (5 times), the rear passenger speaker. And now my brakes kick my foot back. I bought the extended warranty but the dealer tries to weasel out my repairs. Can't get them to fix my brakes without trying expensive services first like draining all my brakes fluids and seeing if that works. I would not recommend this vehicle and have a sour taste for all things Hyundai now.

Sporty Commuter

It?s a great little car....very reliable. Never a day of regret for purchasing this car. First 4 cylinder vehicle but this thing moves, especially in the 6 spd manual.

Fun drivers car

Awesome car, it?s quite peppy and handles well, the inside is a little difficult for those over 6feet tall and the visibility isn?t awesome. Car has not let me down and always puts a smile on your face when you drive it

Best car I ever owned !

I saw this car at the golf club in September 2017....SO intrigued by the styling and panoramic roof....Did tons of research....Bought one last month (Nov 2017) with every option possible....absolutely love this car. Not afraid to get on EWAY anymore....handles great! The DCT is flawless! You would have to spend $40K on any other car to get the features and performance of the Veloster! (except you wouldn't get the unique styling) It breaks the mold and is a REAL head turner!!!!!

So far, so GREAT!

I bought a used 2013 model and so far, I love it! It is small enough that is can turn on a dime and the panoramic sunroof makes it so much brighter in the interior without making it hot. The only things that I don't like are VERY nitpicky. The steering wheel stereo controls don't have a mute button, the brake and gas pedals aren't at even heights, etc. Overall, it is a great little car that is sporty and has the capacity to carry larger items.

Got it used - so far so good

I love it's unique exterior. Interior is roomy, seats are super comfy, well laid out dash and over all interior. It's very zippy for a little 4-banger and I was used to a zippy 6-cyl. This is a 2013 with 80k on it already. I have had it only 3 weeks so opinions are based on minimal use. I'll come back in a year and update this.

My Custom V ride

i bought my 2013 custom Veloster new off the showroom floor in 2013. It was comfortable and fun to drive then and now!! Other than tires and a battery staying ontop of oil changes, very reliable car.
