Horrible Transmission
Will never buy a jeep again - I know so many people who have them and have no problems, but I've had my Cherokee since Dec. 2013 and I've had it in for service 8 times - I've had a case # with Chrysler since the beginning and have gotten nowhere - they tried numerous flash updates for the transmission that have done nothing. Also had steering wheel noise and creaking in back or sunroof (still don't know which) - they fixed both and now a couple of months later both noises are back. Now the check engine light is on and they couldn't give me a loaner appointment for a month. Chrysler Customer Care is terrible - no one ever answers the phone - you leave message after message and no one calls back. I hate Chrysler/Jeep and can't wait to get rid of this car.

Im worried, this vehicle will leave me stranded.
I bought this 3.2L AWD in Florida, where it drove like a new car should. I drove it all the way to Alaska with no problems. I was pulling a four thousand pound trailer and got about 15-17 mpg average on the Alaska highway. I was very impressed with my new toy.....anyways as I used it quite a lot up here I noticed extremely rough shifts but it only happens sometimes. Its almost like this vehicle shifts well on flat ground, but when a bump or hill interacts with the vehicle it throws the transmission off. Snow and ice is the worst. Jeep tells me it will need a update, but I believe that just flash the computer and reprogram it. I don't even wanna talk about how rough the ride can be. Its never what you would expect from a 4x4 jeep, but thats probably because they put these cheap firestone tires on it and have a suspension off a minivan. Another issue I have is sometimes when I turn the key the car wont start the ignition process. Not sue why....just adding to the list. 4th issue the rubber trim on the back doors that connect to the wheel well keep coming off and i have to place them back every couple of days. 5th issue is my brake pedal making a springy clicking noise. Did anyone contact toyota to let them know brake pedals are failing in this segment too? I cant stand this jeep any longer 23k miles.....and its suppose to be high quality?????. Do not buy this. It is not the jeep we use to know.

great car
If you are lokking for a small suv you need t o drive this.We tried the Ford and Nissan but this just blew me away. I have o ytwned it for 13 mos. And it has been flawless. 26 mpg highway for real. 185 hp may not seem like much but it is plenty.Interior room and design are excellent. Tight and quiet on the highway.

Ey...wish I would have researched more
Very stylish, comfortable seating, gas mileage is not bad for a small SUV, I like the touch screen inside. Cons: After only 6k miles, my engine light is on! I took it in and it has something to do with the oil pressure not being picked up; some electrical problem. After reading the other reviews, I'm scared. There's NO reason for an engine light due to an electrical problem with only 6,000 miles!!

2014 Cherokee Latitude
I loved my vehicle for the first month, then it snowed and I turned the traction control to snow and ever since then there's an annoying hum between 45-60mph. Been to dealer 4 times and they can't figure it out. Caused my fuel mpg to go from 23 to 19. Not a happy camper. I also am not to fond of the 9 gears, it tends to wind out before it shifts. The ride is very comfortable and there is a lot of room inside and I am very happy with the way it handles in the snow. Just wish they could find out what happened. Frustrating.

Love this Trailhawk
Bought this because we loved the styling. After 9,000 miles it's been nothing but a pleasure to dive. I have not returned to the dealer once, Have oil changes done at a local garage. This is the first new car I've bought and This is number 12 that didn't have any issues. Being retired the wife and I take road trips and even after sitting in it for 8 hours I get out without a stiff back, so comfortable. I highly recommend this ride, it's a 10 on our book!

2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Extremely sorry I did not read reviews before purchasing new 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Have driven for two weeks (500 miles). Transmission failed on Sunday, has been in shop for week. They indicate that it is a failed TCM unit. Replaced and ready to go today (Friday). We will see if the problem is fixed. My advise, don't buy!!!
