My little baby
Ive had my truck for about a month and i LOVE It!! I was really hesitant about getting this truck because it was discontinued since 2001 but im glad i got it. My whole family has always relied on jeeps so it wasnt hard to go with it. I got it brand new so no problems. Drove it in the snow for the first time and even tho its a 2wd it still made me feel really comfortable. This truck isnt for everyone but its definitely for me

Moved from a Wrangler
I'm about a year in on this Cherokee Trailhawk and I love it. I traded in a lifted Wrangler to get it, and while I can't do all the off-roading I used to, this is more than competent for forest service roads, and blows the Wrangler away in highway performance and fuel economy. I'd make the same trade again in a heart beat. Mine is fairly loaded out, and I love the design and features. I live a few miles up a steep forest road, and it can get interesting in the winter. The 4WD and various setting have done very well. I've only needed to chain up once. Kudo's Jeep - good job.

Very satisfied
I have the 2014 limited, V6 w/ the tow package. basically all options accept the sunroof. I love this car. I replaced my 04 grand Cherokee that I drove for 200k and had no problems with that. The good, For me this car is super comfortable. With the V6 it will keep up with just about anything on the road. It cruises without stain well into the 80's if you're willing to drive that fast. I have a 75 mile commute and never grow tried driving the car. All the buttons, knobs and switches are where they need to be and my hand goes right to them every time. I average 27.5 mpg on the highway with moderately aggressive driving. My complaints are my golf clubs don't fit horizontally in the back and I don't like the keyless ignition system. I thought I would but I don't. Both these pitfalls I can live with. Only 13k miles so it has a long way to go to prove itself as reliable as my 04 but so far so good

Great SUV
Many people have varying opinion of the new Cherokee. Most people need to understand the transmission has a learning period. Once this period reached, (3k-4k miles), the transmission shifts smooth as silk. As for the the interior - nothing short of awesome. Better than a BMW - I have the Limited loaded with everything - leather seats. Just great American build quality - much better than my dad's Toyota Avalon. Style is innovative - either you love it hate it - I like it a bunch. Radio/Uconnect - flawless. Harmen system and it works perfectly. Engine - V6 - great power but there is a slight delay once you hit the gas pedal. Overall - great vehicle!

I hate this car....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate this car. I received this car new, as a company car, in December 2013. Like the other comments about the transmission You can feel a hard shift. not all the time. There is a two second delay when you push on the gas. there is a two second delay when you turn on the air/heat. Just this week, my radio console went out. seems like a processor issue. It is very uncomfortable. You can hear noises when you shift gears and in the morning when you turn the steering wheel. Crazy issues. To me, it seems as if they built this car as cheap as they could. and this is what we got. DO NOT BUY....!!!!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY..!!

Disappointed with interior.
I test drove the Cherokee yesterday and I was very disappointed in the cramped interior in the front and rear passenger seating. Additionally, when I was getting into the vehicle, I slammed my head on the roof because I didn't bend down low enough amd I am only 5'3". My 2008 Honda CRV is much more roomy so I would not consider trading it in for a new Cherokee that wouldn't fit my needs. It's a shame because I really liked the exterior, sunroof, backup camera and V6 engine, but not enough to make up for the lack of space.

Transmission broke after only 1 week
I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee and my transmission broke just a week; the dealer wanted me to accept the car with a replaced transmission and I told them that I bought a new car, not a repair car. Contacted Chrysler and they agreed to replace my car; nevertheless, it has been over a month already and I still do not have my car. Do not waste your money this vehicle transmission is not performing properly.

Poor Customer Service
I bought my Cherokee in August. It now has 2800 miles on it and the speedometer is not working. I took it to the dealer on 10/27/14. It is now 11/7/14 and they still do not have the part to fix it. I have been in touch with Chrysler Customer Service 4 times and have been told that the part won't be available until 11/13/14 and there is nothing they can do. I was told that they gave my instrument cluster to put it in a new Cherokee. Apparently, customer service means nothing to Chrysler. So far, I love my Jeep and I understand that things happen, but if the company will not strive to provide excellent customer service, I will buy elsewhere from now on.
