My Belguim Malinois loves it too!

My Jeep is NormaJean and like her name-sake she's a beauty! I love my Jeep. Bought her with 106000 actual miles which is great for a 17 year old vehicle. She is also an 8 cylinder, which I love and will be great for towing. She starts every time I turn the key and roars down the road like a boss. It's fun passing slow movers on the road, and depending on the day, you might hear someone in the car yelling: "V-8 baby!" I don't know who keeps doing that, but it's shocking! ;-) The interior is very nice as well. I'm a smaller lady so seat adjustment is a big issue with me and this drivers seat is uber-comfortable and I can put it in many different positions, even fullback for a rest on the road. I love the heated seats, would love to see it go into the back as well. I also bought this to accommodate my large breed dog as the seats fold down giving plenty of cargo room in the back. The sound system in my Jeep is the Infinity, and it kicks butt. I love turning up my tunes and having them sound this crisp and clean, so much so I'm buying more CD's and Tapes. Mechanically she has been great! No issues since I bought her, she drives and rides great. The steering is tight and responsive as well as the gas pedal. There's no hesitation when I ask her to go zoom. I have a moon roof also and that's all sort of awesome, and no it doesn't leak, mom. I love my Jeep so much I don't think I'll ever go back to any other truck. I'm a loyal Jeep gal now!

This is one to own thoughtfully

I've owned this vehicle for a bit over 10 years now and put around 50,000 miles on it. It was reliable pretty much until around 80,000 miles. That's when all of the upkeep came rolling in. Normal things at first...brakes..water pump..electric door locks..tail lights...radiator...And then about another 20,000 miles later...Computer...window regulators...door locks again...leaking when it rains, front drive shaft bearings...electric seat malfunction...It's a JEEP that needs constant attention after those first few thousand miles. Not recommended for the non mechanical after the warranty runs out. But it runs great and handles great and performs great....When all of the maintenance is up to date...That's it in a nutshell

I drove this car for 14 years and other than replacing a couple of batteries it never failed to start and perform even in 18 below zero.

Great Bang for Buck

I purchased this vehicle in January for about 2k to get me through the rest of college after a wreck. So far I love my Jeep more than my previous vehicle (a 2008 VW Passat). I have an 800 mile round trip commute to get home and visit my family from school, and this car has made the trip multiple times with ease. It's comfortable, rides well, and is durable af: 17 years old and still has a strong transmission and engine (L6). The only repairs that have been made are routine maintenance ones : radiator and hoses, fan and fan relay, and an A/C tune up. Which totaled to about 800 bucks. Even though I originally planned to trade this vehicle in after graduation, I liked it so much that Ive decided to keep it. Altogether I spent 2800 dollars for a great vehicle; I'll call that a win.

Jeep grand cherokee laredo

It has been fairly a good vehical. I have had to replace a hear core, spent 800 to fix ac, replaced a radiator, now the ac compressor is going out. There have been electrical issues at times. I am trying to find out if this vehical is using the takada air bags.

Best vehicle I've ever owned.

This Jeep has been the best. From family get aways to every day driving. Only issue I have had is the heater. Doesn't get cold. Found out several of these models have the same issue. However, no recall has ever been done.

Bought mine used for 700 with 172K Miles.

Great car, a lot of issues that will cost quite a bit to fix but it starts up and runs like a 5000 dollar car!

Great wipers

bought my jeep with 140,000 mi. on it. Drove great on test drive and still does. But started noticing it's naughty little secrets after I got it home. Sighhh, where to begin. It's probably easier to say what does work properly... ummm the wipers? This thing leaks every and all liquids everywhere. Stereo speakers out on left side, and back doors do not unlock remotely. Heater core needs to be replaced, which means taking the dash out. Bought a plug in heater to get me by but the cig. plug in doesn't work either. Passenger side window, hood, and lift gate...you guessed it, doesn't work. The plastic interior is completely falling apart. But like I said, the wipers work great!

Loved my Jeep

Purchased new Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo in 2000. Had a few problems with brakes which was common with this year Jeep and lots of problems with actuators on doors and too expensive to fix so had to lock and unlock manually. Otherwise just normal wear and tear replacements until engine died at 166,000 which I heard is very unusual for a V6 4 cylinder engine. Was very dissappointed since I LOVED my Jeep and to replace engine will be over $3500 :( Jeep was wonderful in the snow and drove very nice. We originally choose a Jeep because it seemed very heavy duty and well built compared to other SUVS in 2000. Really would have liked to purchase another Jeep but was concerned about engine dying so soon so we purchased a new Toyota RAV4, so will see how this compares. So far drives nice and better gas milleage although smaller.
