JGC Overland over the top
Took delivery of my JGC Overland 900 miles ago. First, let me say that you have got to get the Saddle interior. It is really sharp. This vehicle is as technologically advanced as I have seen. I traded in my 2004 I FX 35 and I am not disapointed. It has everything from all electronic options, to panoramic sunroof, etc. I am very pleased with ride, power, road noise, mileage (21 mpg avg. city/highway) and any other category. Very roomy inside and comfortable for driver and passengers. I bought a JGC in 91 (1st year and this model is miles ahead). JGC Overland is not representative of overall brand ratings. This is not a Wrangler or a Patriot. Drive one, you will see.

I Am So Pleased With My New Car
I traded out of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo that I had for 6 years. I wanted a car that would be as smooth of a transition as possible in comfort & ride. My JGC Overland did not disappoint. The acceleration isn't the 500 horses I was used to, but the V8 moves well when I want it to. The interior is very comfortable with soft leather. There is an ease in the use of and reachability to all of the controls. The car has all kinds of fun "goodies" that were standard too. The heated & cooling front seats, the 45 degree reclining rear seats, the automatic sensored high beam lights, the touch screen for GPS/stereo and the remote open rear hatch are my favorites. I Love This Car!!

Rugged, sturdy and capable
Bought a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo E V6 4X4 with cloth interior. 4X4 system is the AWD type with only the Hi-range, not the Lo-range variety. Works very well off-road on muddy terrain, sandy beaches and other surfaces where traction is questionable. Not a rock climber but very capable. V6 is adequate and runs good on cheap gas or gas spiked with ethanol. Just as good as Highlander AWD, Pilot AWD. Better than Subaru AWD, Ford AWD and GM's AWD Enclave, Acadia and Traverse. Evaluated all of them, preferred Pilot and Highlander but Grand Cherokee beat them on price by several thousand dollars, and had the same capability on-road and off-road. Chose cloth interior over leather because of kids and dogs. Leather rips and tears too easily. Been there, done that.
